    Shouldnt the sectional in question ask a gmod to ban perm so that the person in question cant continue to trade and scam and just say 'oh yeah its a temp ban for infractions, dont worry'

    Well maybe if you look at the thread you can see that he hasn't been found guilty of scamming yet, he's been banned as precaution due to the outrageous price he was offering, so there is no reason for a perm yet.

    Sectionals can only temporarily ban, they have a way to inform global moderators which members needs to be banned, forum-banned, etc. I'm sure whoever banned Synful has done this, and a global moderator will permanently ban him soon as a precaution due to his of his ludicrous gold prices.

    Yeah, it's called Suspended staff, basically a usergroup for staff who are inactive or are suspended for some other reason.
