Screens explains all better. They want you to buy gold from them instead of gold traders and botters

 

How does that show "buy gold from us" ...
It's discouraging buying gold at all.

 

In some sense I guess he's right.
The mods says not to buy from external sites / people, but he doesn't say anything about their own systems

I do think they somewhat have an own RWT programme, but more legitimate than for example Sythe. You can buy XP / money through spins but it depends on luck and is not as 'unfair' as from botters.

Nevertheless in the basics they are kind off doing the same, on smaller and less harmfull scale. And they are the owners of the game, so they can.

You can buy spins which give gold.

Even if there is double gold on the wheel, who says it will be easy to get? You always have to keep that in mind.

 

You're basically just picking apart his sentence. It could just be bad wording on his part, it happens all of the time. The truth is Jagex doesn't sell gold. Buying the chance to win gold (which is rare to get in large amounts) is in no way buying gold. When they start selling mills in that general store thing then you can start complaining.

 

This is just a spam fest with a very provocative thread title (which is complete and total bullshit) This is just another SoF promotion THE END. I dont see how in any way you interpreted this as them selling gold anymore so than the original SoF. Please dont make such provocative threads with little to no backing whatsoever .

 

Either way, they are still performing their own version of RWT; someone even questioned it and they said the rules are for players and not them, they then went and twisted the rule up about that.

 

I love how people think that SoF is even remotely comparable to buying gold.

 

Lol @ Jagex their only defense is that they state RSGP/Items has no monetary value. Thus, they can "sell" items.

 

Please change the thread title because when Jagex decides to DIRECTLY SELL GOLD, trust me, we'll all know.

 

In a way, the SoF double money thing is a scheme to get people to buy the newly introduced cards you can buy and spend the money on them on spins or runecoins instead of membership.
