Is it worth becoming a member for? I'm 1 defence if that matters. I won the item and don't really know if I should become a member to claim it.

I got this item too, it doesn't do anything... I don't think it does anything.

According to Runewiki, once you get the whole set, you may recolour your set.
So pretty much it's just for decoration.

 

Dragon Ceremonial Chestplate is only a cosmetic item. It doesn't give any stat bonuses. However it is a "Rare item", as stated in Runescape wiki. Dragon Ceremonial and Queen Guard items are only available during the "summer months". If your 1 defence, how about your other stats? If you do not enjoy that account, I wouldn't become member to just claim the item. However, if you got money to spend SURE. IMO, you should of became member at the beginning of August for free XP. I would just so you can have it and maybe sell it later on since it's a rare.

 

Not sure if it will stay on the wheel for ever, so claiming it is worth it if you're one of those people who like to collect discontinued items. It's kind of a promotion for the qbd quest and the boss itself. I have a few pieces, although the appeal isn't there. Your choice

 

It looks awesome, but no, you shouldn't become a member if you weren't one to begin with.

 

Never been a big fan of Dragon Ceremonial, I have the whole set and never wear it. I'd say no, if you didn't have any prior plans of becoming a member.

 

Definetely not. Those are the typical items that someone goes in wild with and just lose them lol, they ain't a big deal lol

I wouldn't bother becoming a member just for the item, only become a member to claim it if you were previously planning to become a member.
