    My 8 Month Transformation [PICS]

I read your thread and it intrigued greatly  I am pretty skinny myself and play a fair bit of sports. I am looking to bulk up myself on my top half :embar: I was thinking about getting a bench and a bar or do you have any other recommendations? I was also wondering about diet? I eat chicken daily for lunch. Also do you recommend any protein shakes for under 18's? I looked at maximuscle creatine, however I found out that the effects of it on under 18's is unkown :S

If you're skinny and just starting out. As long as you don't care about growing in height, i recommend joining a gym now and follow a basic full body split for a month before switching to a normal bodybuilding split. Diet-wise, buy Optimum's Serious Mass. It's the best gainer out there, doesn't cause any stomach issues and mixes perfectly while having a great taste. Other than that, eat lots of chicken thruout the day (A whole chicken or more), have lots of milk too. To increase your overall strength, I'd also recommend doing bodyweight exercises, especially pullups. Once you're able to do 12 reps of full pullups, your strength will be much much better :)

The trouble is that the gym is quite far away and I'd only be able to go once a week >_< I would probably be able to get a bench and bar and own a set of dumbells but do you have any suggestions for exercises etc...

Donuts mind if I ask how old your are? I'm guessing 18-19. I've been trying to gain some weight but it hasn't been working, I think mainly cause I do lift+cardio and my intake isn't high enough to gain a lot of weight.

Hi, I would appreciate very much if you posted your exact diet (breakfast, lunch, dinner, pre-workout, post-workout). I've started working out two months ago. I've definitely gotten better from my starting point, but I'm still pretty small. I want to know what to eat and which times.

And if you could give me your MSN, that would be even better.

Edit: I also wanted to add that I don't want to use supplements, so only real foods.
    Thanks!

im 20. If you're working out at home, do pullups everyday. About 50 of them. Till you can do 12 full pullups in a go. Then add on some weights (wear a backpack with about 5kilos in it) and do the same. Keep increasing the weights in the bag when you can do 12 full pullups in a go. This will surely get you some good shape and strength. Along with that, you should do pushups (wide and close gripped) about 100 of them (20x5). Dietwise, you can follow something like this:

    Meal 1 : 5 eggs, 3 brown bread
    Meal 2 : Half a grilled chicken, 100-200g rice
Meal 3 : Half a serving ON Serious mass, 500 ML Milk
    Meal 4 : Half a grilled chicken
Meal 5 : Half a serving ON Serious mass, 500 ML Milk

This'll add up to about 3400 cals. You could skip meal 1 or 3 from this if you're just starting out and cant get everything in. Overall, the diet WILL guarantee results tho.

From someone who is beginning a transformation hoping to be as successful as yours, what keeps you motivated to maintain working out and eating healthy?

Can supplements be harmful? I'm 18 years old, never tried supplements.

Also, what equipment should I get if I wanted to have a home gym setup? I can't get to a gym around here.

Some blends of gainer have been bad for my stomach. So it depends from person to person. But i've had 0 problems with ON's serious mass and their Gold standard whey. If you're making a home gym, bench, barbell, dumbells, lots of plates, power rack & pullup bar would be more than enough to see good gains for a year or two.

Very nice progress. But the most important question of all:

    how much do you squat?

    My 8 Month Transformation [PICS]

I started off squatting heavy 3-4 months into my transformation. I went upto a 100kg squat in 1.5 months (soccer legs). Then i broke my leg playing soccer(lol) and i started squatting again. Came back hit a nice 60kg squat and within 2 days had a back injury haha. I'm going to start squatting again this week :)
