Can I post a progress thread in a programming section?

I'm building a program in Visual Basic - soon to be released for sythe users. It's a common autotyper, clicker, general tools program. I was wondering, considering the Visual Basic section is purely based for discussion can I post a progress of me creating this program?

Just inquiring cause I don't want to put work into a progress thread and then it gets removed.

I don't see a problem with it. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be allowed and if anything could be an interesting thread.
