New ranks

That wasn't my idea, I disagree with Tokkul being used as a representation of a middleman because a middleman stands for a type of wealth/value whereas Tokkul has no set value.

If it wouldn't be too much of a hassle try seeing if you can put a money sign or some sort of currency in the middle along with the current dragon.

I would much rather see a gold stack in the middle, it has no relevance to the donators rank I don't know why that idea is frowned upon.

Take a look at current donors; the gold stack shared among them is hard to miss.

I mentioned tokkul because of that; not that it would matter much anyway. The fact that it would say OMM above that does not warrant it looking similiar still.

Until they change the middle symbol of donors, OMM should contain something else. That is the reason I suggested it should just be 3 kites to replace the original sq's. Imo at least, I see the rank as having more to do with safety rather than traded wealth, so shields are a better fit anyway.

Aside from OFFICIAL MIDDLEMAN i don't see how the two are similar, unless Sythe members can't read.

The currency sign in the middle doesn't look as good as i thought it would. You could try putting 3 tiny men in the middle to represent the man in the middle as the safe haven, and the other two as the trading parties.

 

Ive given it a go, however with the current restriction of a rank being 30 pixels height, its really hard to cram a person into it, its giving the effect that the rank is really small because the people aren't wide, if you get what i mean.

 

yea i understand, i like that concept i just don't agree with the images used for characters.

Wait...what?

I was talking about the similiarities between the example that Tyro used on the front as a new OMM rank and the current donor status. Tyro has a gold stack in the middle which pretty much symbolises being a donator at the moment; That's why I was trying to think up a somewhat different middle item, or suggested just shields altogether.

Although not as serious, it is kind of like how we can't just use partyhats and stuff for donator ranks; The gold stack in the middle is more of a donator thing as of now.

That I actually really like, if someone can make something similiar to that.

Third one looks pretty good (that i can tell on my phone) only thing I would recommend would be to make the middle guy longer if possible, matching the length of the others.

 

2 and 3 look the best out of those, thouh I still think the current OMM rank looks fine as it is

I think the head of the middleman is too close to the font but i assume there's nothing you can do for that since you made it longer. I however think that rank looks amazing.

 

I thought that as well, but if i move the middleman lower down, he is no longer in line to handshake with the men on either side, i would have to make their arms at an angle and it might look dodgy, however ill give it a bust.

Attempt 1: best i can do whilst keeping the middleman in-line with the other men.



Attempt 2: moved middleman slightly lower than the other men to increase distance from title.



Only other alternative is if i make him slightly a bit smaller so he's not so close to the title.
