Will there ever be a....?

Gay, atheist, or woman president in the United States? If so, which do you think will come first? I would say a woman will become president first, and an atheist will have the least chance of becoming president in the USA. What do you think?

 

Id like to say atheist, considering its becoming much more common these days, but as the majority are still religious, an atheist president isn't going to happen anytime soon, everybody would go ape shit and say everybody is going to hell because of it or some shit.

Id say in order of most likeliness:

Woman > Athiest > Homosexual

 

I am going to go out on a limb and say that there will be a women president within the next 2 decades. I mean Hillary Clinton really seems to have a good chance.

 

It just seems to me like any religious person, no matter what religion, look down on atheists as moral-less. It is probably a toss up for an atheist or homosexual to become president, but it won't happen for many years.

 

I would say woman, due to Hillary Clinton getting close, not many people will agree with the athiest, and as for the gay, I don't think there is as many gays as women, therefore making it more likely.

I'd say there will be. People said there would never be a black president and look who's in charge currently.

There are a lot of catholics out there, and they wouldn't be too keen on voting for an atheist.

 

I don't think Catholics will choose a gay person over an atheist lol. I would say woman, then it's a toss up between atheist and gay.

No, the founding fathers of the US were mostly deists who subscribed to the clockwork universe theory or were irreligious. The statement that the US was founded on Godly values is more religious propaganda than anything.

A woman. In our country, there's been already 2 women presidents.

 

Being gay only defies catholic religion, atheism denies it completely. Who do you think catholics will have the bigger beef with? Those who go against it slightly or those who completely disagree with the religion and decide against it. Also the world is becoming more lenient to the idea of same sex relationships.

One nation under god - unlikely chance there will ever be an athiest president in such a religious country. As for a homosexual the same concept applies as homosexuality is seen as a sin in many religions.

 

A women of course, Hilary had a good chance back in 08 until she dropped out.

 

Yeah I understand. To be honest I have yet to see a "god hates atheists" mob run rampant on the streets as much as those "god hates fags" type of groups. I think those people who are die hard religious will seem to think atheists could be converted, which is possible. Gays on the other hand... Close to impossible to make a gay person straight lol.

 

Here in Australia we just got our first female prime minister and im not sexiest in any way but I think everything in Australia has gone to crap since she got in.

With more and more of the younger generations becoming atheist I will go out and say atheist, female then Homosexual.

 

The USA as a country seems eager to go back to the middle ages. "One nation under god", while their own constitution says otherwise...disgusting.
