Selling Sick Semi-Pro Xbox Account [Paypal]

Hey everyone, I've debated long and hard and I think I'm finally willing to give up my unreal Halo 3 account. Now I know a lot of you are probably thinking that Halo 3 is a dead game and therefore no one will be interested in buying the account, and I would have agreed with you before. However, I was surprised how many offers I was getting from randoms I was facing after games were finished, and how many people I have recently boosted to level 50. I assure you that the game isn't dead and that the market for accounts and level 50s is still up there. So without further ado, here are some stats for my account.

    GT: L is 4 Monk

Halo 3 Overall Rank: General Grade 2
    Lone Wolves: 50 (163 exp)
    Team Slayer: 50 (67 exp)
    Team Doubles: 50 (1520 exp)
    MLG: 9 (9 exp)
    Team SWAT: 20 (22 exp)
    Team Snipers: 16 (19 exp)

    Total Exp: 1798
    Ranked Games Played: 1832
    Social Games Played: 0
    Custom Games Played: 4900
    K/D Ratio: 3.27

The account has 3 level 50s with only 34 losses and no social or double exp. It also has every armour piece (including Recon) and Ultra White Armour Colour and a modded O00 service tag, which can be removed upon the buyers request.

Both in Halo 3 and Reach, I have competed in numerous Canadian national events, with a highest placing of 15th in Halo Reach and 12th in Halo 3. I have yet to attend any MLG events due to the distance I would have to travel and not having enough time to do so. There are a few Semi-Pro players on my friends list that are still active in Halo Reach as well.

The account has 9350 gamerscore, with every achievement from Halo 3 and Reach completed. It also has a Gold membership, and will continue to have one until 05/09/2013 (I just put a brand new 1 year membership on it). The only payment method linked to the account is a paypal account which will be removed upon being sold, and an expired Mastercard. Now onto the pictures.

You have not attended any MLG events, therefore you cannot be "semi-pro" LOL. False advertisement.

Although I do agree with you that the official meaning of Semi-Pro is placing in the top 32 at an MLG event, I still consider myself Semi-Pro with regards to the other meaning of the word. The official meaning of the word was introduced by MLG, so of course it makes sense that you would have to attend an MLG event to be considered. Although since I have not attended an MLG event, that meaning does not apply to me because it would impossible for me to be considered one.

The real meaning of semipro is someone who plays for pay on a part-time basis. I have made over $1000 from playing Halo and selling accounts and boosting, therefore I fit the description. My old Halo Reach account was ranked 1st in Canada (3rd in the World) for highest K/D ratio with 7.37. And again, I have attended and placed well in Canadian National events. MLG is technically American, therefore the Canadian events that I have attended are basically the same, just like the CFL and NFL are almost the same. If WGG (the Canadian version of MLG) had a description for Semi-Pro, it would probably be having to place top 32 at a WGG event. Therefore, yes I consider myself Semi-Pro.

Money made from selling accounts or boosting does not count towards having the status of semi pro. Semi pro means that you're among the top players, and placing at a Canadian event doesn't prove that, because the competition would not have been against top tier players. Also, a KD like that would be from stat padding in noob based playlists. I was #1 in Reach GB for 4 months before I took a break, I hold the second best 1v1 record and was one of the top 1v1 players. I do not consider myself pro or semi pro. Not trying to call you bad or make it seem so negative but the title is misleading.

You're still going by the MLG meaning of the word. I did face top-tier players, just mainly only from Canada. Fragtale is one of the best European players I have ever seen, but based on your meaning of the word, he would not even be considered Semi-Pro. Google the unbiased american gaming version of the word Semi-Pro, and tell me how I am not considered one. You need to stop getting the MLG gaming version of the word out of your head, and look at the big picture. Now please stop spamming my thread. If youre not interested in buying the account, don't bother posting.

Semi-Professional player. Not a placing at a random Canadian tournament that didn't have many , if any professional players. I'm Canadian so im not hating on Canada. There are thousands and thousands of semi pro's by your definition. Your account isn't known, you have no-one known on your friends list. You're being delusional. I'm done "spamming" bye<3.

Team Doubles and MLG are totally different gametypes. And if you actually are in fact interested in knowing, I'd say that 75% of my games are in fact legit. Probably about 300 games are boosted exp, all the rest are 50 high Doubles going in only with my Doubles partner who recently started playing again.

And I will say it again, google the definition if semi-pro, and post it below so everyone else doesnt spam my thread with their same opinion. Actually since it appears that most of you are incapable of doing so, or are ignorant in going by the MLG definition of the word, Ill post it for you.

SEMIPROFESSIONAL: engaging in an activity for pay or gain but not as a full-time occupation

Please tell me how I do not fit that definition.

PS: I am and always have been completely relaxed as I wrote these messages.

If you read the replies then you'd seen me say that surprisingly only about 300 games are boosted, maybe 400 max. All the rest are in fact legit and played 50 high Doubles with my friend. I'll be completely honest in saying that we may not be the best individually, but our teamwork in Doubles is phenomenal and during 1000 games, we've only lost like 30 or so. I had a perfect record Team Slayer 50, and a perfect record LW 50, so all of the losses came from Team Doubles with the exception of one game of level 2 swat haha.

Thankfully I haven't been cheated on once either.

Considering you can just go on Hack Forums and find a lobby to join where people are boosting exp in practically any playlist- this is a waste of time. The hours that you had to put in to boost (or if you insist that you played legit, which is bullshit) is not worth the under $40 that anyone with half a brain is willing to offer.

If you had this account three or four years ago, you'd be in luck. But as I've already said- any idiot with a couple controllers can make this account.

    Good luck selling.

No point. You're taking the definition and reading it in a warped way to benefit yourself. You're not even good and the fact that you even call yourself a "semi-pro" is insulting to people who legitimately place at serious tournaments, and who are among the best in the world. That's like calling yourself a doctor because you know how to treat the flu. You keep bringing up MLG as if it is different. If you compete in a basketball league of 12 year olds that doesn't make you a semi/professional. If you can compete in the NBA that's a different story. There is a reason you're not getting offers , because you're the only one who thinks you are a semi-pro. Is every single player who wins a Gamebattles tournament a semi-pro?

A 9 in mlg? How can you call yourself semi pro, I leveled accounts ect and never thought I was "semi pro". Also the term "semi-pro" in halo is known worldwide as placing in the top 32. If you did think the term meant playing for money why does your bio say your button layout correct me if im wrong but people that do that have the mindset that their better than other players and other players strive to be like them which in this case I bet is the opposite.

For one, an idiot with a couple of controllers wouldnt not be able to get three level 50s with less than 35 losses, and on top of that rack up around 1300 exp maintaining the same record. I'll say it for about the 5th time, only about 300 games are actually boosted.

And that basketball reference does not apply here at all. For one, you are comparing a 12 year old league with the NBA. I'm comparing WGG with MLG, in which case both are competitive gaming leagues for different nations in the world. MLG is a USA oriented event, not Canadian or European. If you don't believe, look at the locations of all of the events. Every single one (with the exception of Toronto) takes place in USA. Obviously people living in South America have no real way of getting noticed. The same goes for me.

I did not "bend" the definition of semi-pro to be in my favour. On the contrary, I took the actual definition of the word and took it literally. To get technical MLG "bent" the meaning of the word to reference it for their gaming event, but nothing more than that.

Im tired of people complaining that I'm not Semi-Pro because this account has a 9 in MLG. Snipedown could make an account and only play Lone Wolves to warm up in, that doesnt change the fact that he still is a pro gamer. I just havent put the time into the MLG playlist.

If you think this account is complete shit, then please, make a better one and prove it to me that they are easy to do. Because when Im playing Halo, this account is one of the best ones in every game, which is why countless people ask me to boost them and ask for help. I put my controller settings in my bio because a lot of friends have asked what I play. Not because they want to copy me (although I know a bunch of people that have switched to Bumper Jumper after reading it) but because a lot of friends find it interesting to compare. If T2 put what he ate for breakfast in his bio, he wouldnt be trying to get people to eat that breakfast, but instead it just gives people something to read, maybe laugh at, and continue with their day. That's the purpose of mine.

@Zimzar All offers at the moment are being considered as I don't have a current price range, but Im looking for AT LEAST $60 just because the one year membership alone is worth that much.

You have the most ridiculous excuses LOL. The comparison is very similar because I'm from Canada and I've played competitive for years, and I've played with many many many people and I've never heard of the WCG. Not one person I've ever spoken to has mentioned it, that shows how big it is. Your attempted excuse for having a 9 in MLG makes absolutely no sense. Stop trying to defend yourself , as you can see not one person has sided with you

I have not given a single excuse, only provided counter-examples to yours. I'm not defending myself anymore, it doesnt matter that you think Im not a semi-pro. I believe this thread was for selling an account, not having a full out debate.

But I really do appreciate the free bumps. So keep on drinking that Haterade and helping me out, all you're doing is benefiting me.

Benefiting you? After looking at this thread you'll be lucky to get a buyer. Those aren't counter arguments there just random excuses. It's not my opinion its the truth. You are the only one who thinks you're semi pro. Have fun living in your own little world. Hating would be if I was jealous, I am definitely not. bye <3

Yet you've been continually spamming my thread. And I already have buyers, but more would always be appreciative. And I still don't see how those are random excuses, but as I said Im done arguing with you ladies. I'll go back to my "own little world" where I've made over $1100 playing video games this year alone. You on the other hand have probably lost $200 on a membership and an electricity bill, which I'm sure you don't even pay for by yourself.

But enough clogging my thread. Go make your own petition against me if you want, I couldnt care less. Just take your complaining elsewhere.

    Still selling!
