Pure training?

I havn't had a pure in years and my current stats are:

80 Attack
70 str
1 def
43 prayer

a few questions, thought I would just through them all in one.

What would be better maul or rapier?
Were would be a good place to train?
Should i get 52 prayer?
What are your thoughts on defence?
Spec weps?

one more thing if you say anything about the combat beta you will be reported for spam. im well aware of the beta but not interested in training for it yet.

 

Because you're not getting turmoil it seems, I'd stick with a rapier. It consistently hits medium to high damage. However, chaotic maul is much more fun, and offers high risk/reward

If you get defense, make sure it is all quested, so that you can turmoil, as well as veng.

 

Stats are nice, I'd get the str up though. Maybe to 90+ or so. And getting a Maul would probably be more ideal than a rapier since rapier is mainly for hitting through high defense players, which will be more rare at your level. Maul just hits great no matter what, espically on zerkers, rune pures, and 1 def pures.

 

I would get maul.

Stay 1 def, get 52 prayer

use gmaul for sec. IE get huge hit from maul then gmaul spec quickly afterwards

 

More strength and a Rapier I would say... Beast account that I wish I had.. Nice stats and good luck.

What would be better maul or rapier? depends if you plan to do clan wars/waterfiends imho, mual is slow for training, so do not get it unless you are looking into the long-term, otherwise get rapier.
Were would be a good place to train? lots of good places to train, bandits, slayer, if you can do it the fight tower, mummies.
Should i get 52 prayer? yes. smite is not only good for pking, but great for sniping at clan events.
What are your thoughts on defence? don't get defence until you max your poor, and if you feel unsastified progress a few stages at a time, I.E. runegloves, prossy, etc. i turn a pure into a perfect 30 def turm prod with 99 herb etc, and ended up getting rid of the account because i hated defence. so don't ruin your account.
Spec weps? DDS is prob my all time favorite, d claws are okay for pking, but never use at clan wars, ags, gmual.

 

Use rapier and keep 1 defense and get to 52 prayer. Higher the prayer the better u don't want to loose your rapier for being smited. Just use dds or claws if ur feeling lucky.

What would be better maul or rapier? Maul, hits very high however since you're only 70 strength i'd advise rapier unless you get around 90+ strength.

Were would be a good place to train? Rock crabs/soulwars at 85+ stats

Should i get 52 prayer? Self preferance smiting people can lead to gpsz but it's all about luck, 52 prayer helps when you're drinking prayer potions too.

What are your thoughts on defence? 30 defence is a waste even with turmoil, 40/42 are the best defence levels, 45 isn't really all that and not really worth a berserker helm.

Spec weps? Dds, granite maul. My favorite combo with rapier - rapier dds spec and as the dds is specing g maul spec once and switch back to dds, can easily combo a 1.5k+ hit. E.g 300-300 dds to 360 g maul to 330-330 dds.

• Maul
  -Maul can be used for HIGH dps while pking and could be used for a Ko weapon.
• Rapier
  -Rapier is just a good overall chaotic to get because it's very accurate and with high strength youll easily be able to even ko someone by just using rapier.

Were would be a good place to train?

• Crabs
• Giant Spiders
• Experiments

Should i get 52 prayer?

• It honistly just depends on your style of pking if you want to use prayer or not, but i would recomend getting 25 at least.

What are your thoughts on defence?

• Might as well make a few more 1 def pures before E.O.C after that they are no more so, enjoy it while you can.

Spec weps?

• Chaotic Maul//G Maul
  -I recomend you get this switch down because mains even use it against people with defence and it still just owns. If all else fails bring the dds out.
