Democracy: Who really controls America?

The whole dumb government and their stupid choices.

 

Nobody truly rules or controls America, nor does anybody control anywhere.

Yes, the market can be controlled by the behind-the-scenes guys in the black suits and sunglasses, but nobody is really in control.

You are not in control if you could quite easily lose any control you presume yourself to have. By this, I mean that the general public could quite easily overturn the current government were they given viable reason. That doesn't necessarily mean they will, because, psh.. People enjoy their lives the way they are and therefore don't feed the need for change, even when it's staring them in the face; if they're living happy, then it's fine by them for the entire country to be done wrong, because they're "happy" by their own standards.

This, however, still allows for the ABILITY for control to be taken away in an instant.

 

The conspiracy theories here are absurd. I dont get ehy half of you think it's a bunch of jews huddled over a backroom table playing us like puppets. I think it's like why people believe in god, it gives a simple explanation.

Unforunately for you, no one "really" controls america. Some people wield undue power, but no one has close to the amount of power you expect.
