Not exactly, you need to already have the game or pirate it. These keys will allow you to play online or get past a global ban

 

You need ArmA II + ArmA II:Operation Arrowhead to play DayZ. Pirated versions of the game don't work with DayZ so I wouldn't advertise that in your thread.

Will this work guaranteed? I have a legit version of Arma 2 and if my friends buy it will they be able to play with me? (dayz mod?)

 

Yep I guarantee it, and for the first few people I'll go first to prove it. They'll be able to play with you just fine.

 

I'll buy 5 tomorrow (only 10:46 over here) when my friends are awake. I just bought 5 keys and all my friends downloaded the game and they got an error. Hoping this will work because I want to play with them! Anyways they downloaded the game on steam already, do they need too downloaded the pirate version?

 

As long as they have it downloaded you should be fine. All you need to do is put the CDkey in the game. I can provide you a download to a CDkey changer that will do it automatically. I'll put it in the op right now

 

So can you explain to me what do they have to do? They have the game on steam but it doesn't work when they try to start the game up.

 

That's what these keys are for. You get Arma 2: Demo from steam for free, then get the pirated Operation arrowhead. These keys then will activate the pirated operation arrowhead allowing it to be used in multiplayer and DayZ.

You'd have to go into more detail for me, what errors (if any) come up when trying to start the game?

To add the keys to your game:
Copy the keys I will give you to your Clipboard.
Open up the CDkey changer I have linked in the thread.
Paste the CDkey into the cmdpromt (the changer).
Click enter twice.
Start playing!

 

I bought them 5 cd keys for steam, it activated and they started downloading both games. Once they finish and tried starting the game they got an error "Failed to Contact Key Server". Does this mean they have to uninstall the game off steam and download the pirate version or they can just do the CDKey changer?

 

Hmm I've never heard of that error before. What they can try to do is use the key changer on the game with my keys then if they still get the same error try the pirate version. Anyway I'm off to bed, feel free to add my on MSN if you still want to buy the keys in the morning.
