I wonder how this will affect Jagex's stock. They are publicly traded now aren't they?

I dont think jagex is publicly traded. They would simply be a penny stock.

 

Considering they are publicly trade now there may be a push for an entire game roll back.

 

Jagex is not publicly traded. They are a private company backed by 3 investment firms.

 

Is there a game owned by the playerbase?

 

Bought like 1b, will see what happens later, but market is fucked =/

If only I still played to abuse these things.

 

Hope there is a rollback, from what I heard the bugger got banned with 10 crackers and stuff, not sure if the rares got deleted, but marketplace is rigged.

Infact, We've already finished working through a section of what I have ready for permanent action to be taken.

Any and every bug is taken seriously. Whether you receive the communication detailing the action taken or not, doesn't mean it didn't happen. There's an awful lot that can't be disclosed when it comes to these sorts of things but I'm wary of the need to keep the community informed.

You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours, offer any information you have and it shall be looked into and dealt with.

There's a thread in RGU for you to post on 15-16-449-63928262. Do so if you have any light to shed.

Have you been reading anything? Accounts banned/locked, wealth resets etc, yet you think it would be "sick" to know about it whilst it was out?

 

I like the part where in my original post I referenced the RS article yet I am the one who needs to learn to read.

They have a thread on the official RS Forums related to anyone assisting or even being involved with the glitch (whether directly associated or even purchasing the physical gold) and are reviewing it on a case by case basis. They can track the gold. They know all the accounts that purchased gold. They'll likely take action against those accounts. My guess is they will roll them because who knew they were purchasing duped gold? To give them the benefit of the doubt they probably won't ban them but will roll or temp ban since purchasing gold is against rules irregardless.
