Dung what to save for?

I have 68 Dung right now, with 29k tokens. Should I keep saving for chaotic? I want one, but I also want bone crusher. Is bone crusher even worth it?

 

It depends on what your account is, if you're a pure and plan on getting high attack (90+) get rapier so you can constantly hit through def accounts. If you're staying at a steady 80 attack get maul for higher hits.

 

depends on if your pking or what you intend to do with account, rapier is best for pve cls for bossing . i always suggest people get rapier first because its a very versatile weapon in general. i suggest getting bonecrusher after you get 80 or so dung, the tokens come alot faster then and your going to want your chaotic first more than likely http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1122863 this is a great thread you should check out in regards to your first chaotic.

 

Also, there has been some debate about getting the Rapier or CLS in regards to the combat evolution.

Once the update goes live the cls and rapier will share the same stats/attack speed, but will have a different attack type. (stab for rapier, slash for cls)

Honestly, even in the beta the rapier would still be the better choice, at least as far as PvE is concerned. The stab attack type is invaluable especially for metal dragon tasks and many slayer monsters. Moreover there are very few viable stab weapons in the game, making the rapier even more necessary, whereas a whip/vine whip can be supplemented for the cls.

I would argue however that the CLS is slightly better for pvp in the EoC, although I'm not sure if attack styles even have any effect on other player.

 

I'd definetly save for a chaotic rapier over getting a bonercrusher. Get the bonercrusher after if you still really want it, but you'll see that it isn't even that great :x

EDIT: IMO i would get the rapier 1st, then the maul, then the longsword (if you dont want range weps) in that case ide get the ccb before the longsword.

 

I'd get a chaotic first (rapier for general use, maul for pking), then most say the ASN is the second best reward

 

100% get a chaotic first rapier

 

save for the chaotic, bonecrusher won't get you much xp compared to a gilded altar

 

I don't ever Pk so I think i'll get the rapier and bone crusher

 

if you like pking = maul
if u like pking and pvming = rapier
if u only like pvming = cls

bow and staff are a waste unless ur a range tank or something

 

Most people didn't even read the post.... but I think bonecrusher is worth it but a chaotic is wayyyy more important. If you're just going to dung and not do anything else until chaotic, then save for chaotic, but if you're going to fight and things like that, You could bonecrusher.

 

I've made my decision! You guys have helped a lot, but I figured out what lvl i need for both and that is what I'm going to do.

 

I'll let you into a secret, a bonecrusher might seem like it's worth it but it's really not.


Also get saving for a chaotic, my favourite is cls because it has a ton of uses and is good in a lot of situations.

 

You seem to have decided but chaotic > bonecrusher any day of the week.

 

You can get both, I would recommend getting a chaotic first since it takes longer to get and is worth more tokens. Once you get that, then the bonecrusher should be a breeze to get since it does not cost a lot of tokens. The chaotic weapon will also benefit you much more than a bonecrusher will. In my opinion a bonecrusher is only really useful for slayer, and if your not going to be doing much of that then I do not recommend getting it.

Definitely do not go for a bone crusher, I speak from experience when I say this.
The experience you will gain from it will be terrible and you will often forget it. You will regret getting it.
