I decided to start a thread of overplayed songs.
Post what song you think is overplayed!

I don't listen to shitty radio stations, so I wouldn't know.

At least it's a good song. I would much rather listen to that than the same terrible rappers being played every other song. There are absolutely no good hip-hop stations out there and yet there are like 3 or 4 overplaying the same shit on all of them. It's ridiculous.

Honestly, Gotye is the shit. Their/his music is fantastic and it is quite unfortunate that the radio had to go and completely destroy "Somebody That I Used to Know" by playing it 30 times per day on every station worldwide. Go check out all his songs that have not made the radio however, he is a phenomenal musician and lyricist.

Another overplayed song - Justin Bieber "Boyfriend"

 

As much as I love the Foo Fighters, they're very overplayed on the radio

The majority of songs that hit iTunes top 10-25 usually get over played on the radio. It irritates me that the radio plays hit songs over and over again, it usually causes me to dislike the song :/

 

lmao where do you live? 'cause i fuckin love megadeth and the only song i ever hear on the radio is symphony of destruction, and i wanna hear some rust in peace album / youthanasia stuff.

The strange thing is when Youtube first introduced the audio swap feature i liked this song. Then it appeared on over 9,000 videos instantly and it became the most hated song on Youtube, for sure.

 

i swear every video with 'epic fails compilation' in like 08 had this song.
