Western Union if under 18

Hey, reading Western Union's terms of service it says that you need to be 18 to pick up money. Just wondering if there's a way around this if you're not 18 and if the WU agents actually check your ID/care about your age.

I would suggest you get a prepaid WU card under another family member's name if you are not 18 and just collect it online so you don't have to collect it in person. WU agents DO ask for your ID/driver's license when you collect the cash to show proof that you picked it up.

I believe it would depend on the amount tbh.
Just like PA, when you exceed the 200$ trade limit, they ask for ID and Address verification.

 

By collecting it online, does it create the risk of chargebacks or is it just as secure?
