F2p range 2hand pking.

I have always pked on my main. Yet i have been pking f2p for the first time in 8 years. Just wanted to know your thoughts on finishing. And what you think the best gear is for f2p.

 

IN f2p not a lot of people really "Use" gear, they just have it in their inventory and put on monk robes to fight in, because otherwise it'd be boring. but the best is obviously rune for armor and gravite for weapon.

 

Its best to do what he said really^

Bring the rune so people don't just attack you and make you waste food, and fight in monks robes otherwise its hard to hit on you and no-one will die, (monk robes are +prayer)
Bring rune or so for risk so its worth a fight

 

Im talking about a 1 def pure. My pure can hit a max of 140 with range and 210 with 2hand. So stack it and you get 350. its not hard to kill another pure. My pure is combat lvl 53.

 

yeah, well get the timing right and you can make it look like you're still attacking with the bow but switch to 2h right at the end. always gets em for me

 

What i do is wait for them to have just under 300 hp. If i dont see 50+xp gained from my arrow hit i wont switch. If i do see it i know i can cause 250+ damage causing the final blow. Whats your thoughts on finishing?

 

There's not really much more to it than what you just said, other than timing the switch so that your 2h only shows for one tick. It might get some people to not spam-eat.

 

When you see a nice xp-drop and you want to switch to your 2h to finish wait till you pull back on the bow then switch.

 

step 1: get mage to 85 for teleblock especially if you pk in a clan

step 2: balance out strength and range, i like to have my range 5 higher then strength due to the strength potion bonus will somewhat offset the 5 level difference

step 3: i like to wear green dhide chaps, green dhide vambraces, my p2p mage robe top that looks cool but wont add mage bonus

most people just wear iron chain body though, and finally for a hat you can wear a coif or i like to wear my p2p mage hat.

for a cape, teamcape will do.

inventory should be: 2h, strength potion, 60-80 addy arrows on quivel or w.e they call it, runes for teleblock if you have 85 mage, and lobster or swordfish should fill out the rest of your inventory.


also a battle strategy that hasnt been mentioned is to eat and quick range your opponent, eat then take a couple steps back then fire, should fire quicker then just standing and eating, then firing.

you should get the animation of doing a 360 then firing an arrow.

 

Zomg. I was pking and i brought 2 maple bows by mistake becuz i was smokin herb. And as i switched i kicked with my foot and killed my buddy lol. Awesome.
