Dial Studios

I just want to open up a portfolio for my web design and development business, just need to think of a name.

I saw www.dialstudios.com was free, but I'm unsure about it. What do you guys think? I'm not sure "studios" goes well with a development portfolio, more-so the design.

Any other suggestions? I was also thinking my real name, but that's taken in .com, although available in .ca.

 

"Studio" represents more then one variation of the average meaning, i think it looks good.

 

I know it could mean more than graphics, but to me it just seems like graphics, not sure why. Although I'm still thinking about it... It's a nice name, and easy to remember.

 

If you're going to have some sort of blog you could have movie reviews as well, make you feel more comfortable about the name

 

It's for website design/development, probably not movie reviews.

 

Well there you go. Studio is a variation of a place where things are developed, produced. If you're offering webdev help or services it makes sense to have studio as a name.

 

You associate the word studio with graphics, because most studios that you know of are related to it.
I know some studios that have nothing to do with graphics. For examples, we have dance studios that are run by famous bboy crews in Korea or recording studios for music.

In my opinion, dialstudios is a nice option; the word studio has a nice professional appeal to it
I'd go for it

 

Meh, I picked it up. Domains are cheap anyway, so even if I dislike it in the future, can always pick up a new one.

I personally don't like it. It doesn't have that ring to it, ya know? DialDesign would be cool but I am guessing that isn't available considering Dial is a pretty commonly used word.
