I agree with this video. If this update comes out i'll stop playing RuneScape. Meanwhile i'm suicide botting with the hopes that they will cancel the update. I know they won't but i don't want to lose hope.

I totally agree with this video.

its like your first toy getting taken away = that's exactly how I feel about this. I quit a few weeks ago, and I can't get over that it was my favorite past time and game to play.

I've never known Jagex to listen to their players. Nor will they ever.

 

Have any of you guys played runescape during the RSC to RS2 switch?

People were saying they were quitting also and saying runescape is going to die, this is no different from that.

 

I agree that if this update actually goes through people will quit but all the little kids and stuff that hooked to the game they won't.

 

Having played RS for nearly 10 years, yes I can remember that.

Over there 10 years I've heard people bitch and complain that Runescape would die after every other update, yet it never has.

 

It hasn't died yet but it's seeing a slow decline of players through the years.

 

They did the same thing last year and lost a ton of players, I don't see why it would be any different this time. Great video by that guy, also.

 

Neat video, but change happens & people don't like change, we'll learn to deal with it eventually. Best thing to do atm is just post feedback on the forums - then they may make changes so it isn't such a huge jump.

 

I just hate that they are ruining pures.

I would be more okay with it if they just left the combat formula how it is and took out the lifeboost from gear.

Its stupid how all you need is one 99 and 99 defense to be maxed.

The eoc will make getting 99 prayer and 99 hp mandatory to be the best for your level. Jagex is completely idiotic.

This is worse than the dfs update

 

^Yeah, being max cb level shows you really are maxed, now it doesn't, makes less sense than the current formula if you ask me.
