So recently my laptop's screen decided to detach itself from the base amazingly 3 months after my warranty was voided. Now I'm looking to buy a new laptop preferably off an online vendor but if one is available in store Canada I'd be up for going to buy it, can you guys recommend me some suggestions, I'm preferably looking for one that can run diablo 3 and WoW on decent settings. I won't be buying warranty I find computers tend to break after the warranty is void any ways. Looking for laptops under $1400. Here are WoW's recommended settings http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/minimum-system-requirements-for-world-of-warcraft obviously better than those settings are better.
Nah my MSI laptop broke for the price it was good but was terrible for gaming. Well I do have a desktop as well but when I'm at an open house its always nice to be able to play wow or progress in D3 when its a dull day and nobody is passing by.
Seems to be discontinued by most retailers I was looking at this one currently http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=710_577_369&item_id=050943 seemed like the closest alternative I could find. or http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3381432&CatId=4938
If you're talking about getting a gaming laptop tailored to WoW then pretty much anything will do. WoW is not as demanding as it makes itself out to be. Go to sites like ibuypower.com to get a feel for every part that goes into the laptop, or a site like newegg.com. This will give you a better idea of the price of the parts and will help you pick one accordingly. Asus makes a good line of gaming laptops, and alienware is also good, although expensive. Just play around with parts so you have a solid idea of what exactly you want.
If you want to max out your budget this laptop seems very good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230408. Thats if you want the best laptop you can buy with your money but this laptop http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215409 is probably more than enough.
Is the screen on your laptop damaged? If its not you can probably get the laptop repaired for a reasonable price. If it is damaged, you could probably buy a new screen for $200-300 and save yourself buying a new laptop.
Yea a lot of people told me I don't need a high performance laptop to play WoW I'll definitely check out those sites though. I might go with second one would that be comparable to http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3381432&CatId=4938 I was really interested in buying this one from tigerdirect but this one you brought up seems better. Ye I was thinking of that but to be honest it really isn't worth it at this point because the laptop is hardly worth the cost of repair I'd rather just invest a bit more and get a more up to date one because this one lasted me a good 3-4 yrs but its time for it to be replaced.
