Paypal is a bunch of thief's. They love whenever charge backs happen because most of the time they keep the money with the excuse that the account is not verified properly or they find a bull shit reason for you not to get paid.

What you need to do is make a fake lawyer e-mail something convincing and send them a very well written letter telling them that " Your client (you) received an e-mail stating that once you turned 18 the account would once again be active to you & that now not only you are forever banned but feel that they did this to keep the $188". It works I used to get paypal's limited all the time you gotta try show to them that you not a nobody and you can give them a hard time because it is YOUR MONEY. When they see that your not doing shit about it their gonna ignore you.

 

I never received an e-mail, this was all done over the phone. Which of course was not saved.
The method sounds smart but I'd like some other people to confirm this method before I do anything that may hurt my chances even more.

 

I assume they checked the dob you entered upon registration with the one on your ID card, and caught you

Phone them about it.

 

The best thing for you to do in this situation is contact them via phone. Emails won't get you anywhere imo.

 

I don't know if you have ever phoned PayPal but you get some blonde bimbo that probably was just hired for her big tits, all they keep on saying is "Sir I can not do anything about it, this was a decision made by our other team"
"Well, get them to speak to me then"
"Sorry sir, they do not have phones in their office"

Yes I have phoned them and got professional assistance several times.

 

I find that really hard to believe due to past experienced with them. I'll give it a shot.

 

I have phoned them before aswell, you must have been holding soething out, or there was problaby a descrepency, just be nice and i find that they always help me. I was 17 last summer when i sold my first batch of RSGP and my account got limited, and I sent them a photo id 3 months later when i turned 18 and they were very nice about it. withdrew the 5000$ and still using paypal now

Certain limitations cannot be appealed. That is given when suspicious activity is found in previous transactions. AKA, you're fucked.

Paypal as a company is a hidden scam and semi retarded. I like how they punish the victim when they're the ones in trouble for something they cannot control.

I called PayPal today and was told I could simply make a new account.
Surprised I asked;

J: "Yes I know that, but I want to know why and what I can do about this as it is all a big misunderstanding."
P: "I'm sorry sir, I can not give information about other people's accounts."
J: "I am not asking information about someone elses account, I want to know why I as in ME, account holder, can not return after doing nothing but legit business?"
P: "I'm sorry I can not give you that information."
J: "Why not?"
P: "Because this would be a security issue for PayPal."
J: "I'm sorry what? That is ridiculous, at least tell me what I did wrong so I can keep others from making the same mistake."
P: "I'm sorry I can not give you that information."
J: "So you are telling me I am banned for life, yet you refuse to give me a reason?"
P: "That is correct"

-this went on for roughly 20 minutes-

Results: nothing changed.

I had the same issue(someone chargedback) and then I ended up winning the dispute(praise whichever god made that happen) but they ended up limiting the account and I had to wait 180 days which turned into 365 because of bogus emails/me not wanting to actually call the support, and emailed instead.

Now, your account says it will remain limited but you now have the ability to withdraw the funds? That's what mine said, and then I called into Paypal(30minute wait no doubt), and got referred to the limitations department(another 15min).

There, they made it possible to add a bank account/remove withdrawal limits.
Paypal is a completely useless company if you ask me, all they do is send money to emails; something the everyday person can do.

Hope yours was as easy as mine, sometimes getting the right person who actually knows how to do their job helps also.

Also, in the 13+ times I have called PayPal in the past, I never managed to get redirected to another department. That is apparently against the rules here.

Well I didn't think you were new, but you seem like you are. You should know if your limitation cannot be appealed there is literally nothing you can do.

 

There is always a way... start up a legit business/registered company and they will kiss you welcome.

 

I'm asking if anyone else knows a way out that I have not heard of.
If you dare not ask others for help you will not get anywhere or it will take twice as long.

I can still make a bank account in the name of my company, this way PayPal just sees the owner as [Business Name] instead of an actual personal name.

 

There is no way out. Your account is limited forever, even if you attempt to make a new account they will link it to your limited account, making your new account limited. You are looking for help, I gave you the best answer.

 

Use new IP address for registering paypal accounts... to avoid limitations let the account sleep for a month, or activate with a VCC virtual credit card and a Virtual Bank Account.... make sure IP is not the same as the one you received limitations from.

 

I had posted last night but it apparently got rolled back or something, I am not sure.

Anyway. One thing I have learned is everybody answers to somebody. Call Paypal and talk with them, telling them your desired outcome, and let them know anything less then that is unacceptable. Be nice, courteous, yet adamant. If they say something along the lines of, "I am not able to do that/I am not able to help you with that" ask to speak with someone who is able, if they say no, ask to speak to their manager.

Continue this process over and over until you eventually get high up enough in the chain of command to where you are dealing with someone who doesn't really care and would rather fix your issue then waste their time dealing with you.

This works wonders, I have used this on many different companies and have 100% always had good results. If it does not work the first time then try again. Ask yourself what the worse is that can happen? They can't ban you for life again, keep trying.
