What Equip? High & Low Risk

Currently playing on an account with 99 def, 99 range, 99 HP, and 99 mage. What equipment should I use for PvP?

 

I wouldn't really use Magic in PK atm other than for Vengeance.
Take runes out for Vengeance first of all.

Low Risk Set-Up:
Head: Rune Full-Helm
Neck: Amulet of Glory
Back: Ava's Accumalator
Chest: Royal D'hide
Legs: Royal D'hide
Hands: Royal D'hide
Feet: Snakeskin Boots
Ring: Ring of Recoil
Main Hand: Rune Crossbow
Off Hand: Anti Dragon Shield
Ammunition: 50x Runite Bolts + 50x Dragon Bolts (e)

That set-up is about 180k risk, you could also add a Dark Bow + 10 Dragon Arrows for a killing blow weapon which adds another 210k Risk.

High Risk Set-Up:
Head: Armadyl / Robin
Neck: Amulet of Fury / Ranging
Back: Ava's Accumalator
Chest: Armadyl
Legs: Armadyl
Hands: Armadyl
Feet: Ranger Boots / Glaviens
Ring: Ranging Ring (or w/e it's called) / Recoil
Main Hand: Rune Crossbow / Dark Bow / Cannon
Off Hand: Dragonfire Shield
Ammunition: Dragon Bolts (e) / Dragon Arrows

Probably like a 35m Risk there, hey, you wanted to hear it

 

I've never had Armadyl. Currently using Torags helm and legs. How do they compare?

 

Torag's is far superior for tanking, but not as good in the fact that they don't give positive ranging bonus. In my honest opinion though, i would rather use Torag's. Especially if you aren't keen on risking so much every death. When you have 99 Ranged and Defense, you can stand to sacrifice a little bit of offensive power for defensive bonuses.

 

- Why aren't you using Archer helmet from Fremennik's todu? Otherwise looks great.
- If you don't want to change the recoil rings constantly, you can always get your Mobilising Armies rank up and buy few Diamond (i) or even Dragonstone (i) rings.

I'll try out the archers helm today. So far I'm liking the torags though!
