Any way to get someone's IP address from msn?

I have an open window from a scammer who tried to impersonate a MOD, is there anyway I can get his IP address so they can pinpoint his IP on sythe and ban it?

 

I don't think many people would post this method on here because MSN is a highly used chat through this website and people can use other peoples IP's for a lot of things..

 

Um, I dont think much can be done if you have their IP address.
Correct me if im wrong, ofcourse unless like an experienced hacked gets their ip, but I doubt anything can really be done.

EDIT: Im only asking cause i've had 3 people add me today, all having fake emails and pretending to be Mod's or high ranked sythe members.
It's really pissing me off.

 

absolutely not, the only thing you can do is post pictures.. and get him banned on here..

MSN is the #1 tool used for communication for sales within two parties. NOW being that said..

Try using google, i do not think it is right for someone on here to tell you how to do that seeing i find it wrong.. sorry bud

*EDIT* If you post pictures of the conversation and the username of the guy on sythe, the mods on here can see their IP, so don't do the dirty work. Leave it up to the MODS

 

My friend claims he knows how to obtain IP's from MSN via using a combination of commands in CMD whilst attempting to send a file during a msn chat and tracking where the file is sent to, to obtain the address. But he won't tell me how specifically.

And I'm pretty sure Sythe doesn't do IP bans anymore considering most people these days now have dynamic IP's not Static, therefore banning their IP would be ineffective as it will change regularly lust failing to prevent them access to the site.

 

They do IP ban, that's how they link up IP's from recreated accounts. I just got someone banned a few days ago by trying to create a different account.. So they do still use that method, would be silly to out an effective method just as that!

you know, as sad as it is.. there is a VERY easy way to pulling an IP from MSN.. I don't think i'm eligible to say but like i told you GOOGLE IT. google has everything, just watch out what you download or read.. as some a moronically inaccurate

 

Well the way I saw that you can get the IP is in CMD, type (blank) but so many things pop up that how can you tell which is their IP?

I actually contected the person being impostered and they mentioned that the person most likely is already banned. It's just sad seeing people fall for a fake email, why dont they ask for a PM? Is that so hard?

 

most mods or admins tell you to PM for verification .. just post pictures and any other information you have that'll be evidence to the user from Sythe here http://sythe.org/forumdisplay.php?f=253

that's really your only way of getting someone banned.. can't prove anything just from an IP address.. i can tell them your IP from this website but don't mean it's evidence bro.

just do what i told you and they will take care of it!

 

No you cant get someones IP from MSN...

Unless you click an external link or something.

 

If I'm on msn on my phone, if I get offline msg'ed it shows me their ip...but I don't know if it that works for everyone.
