Luring loots?

How in the world do people get those Rares/Bandos/Dragon loots all of the time? I decided to have fun and go luring tonight with a buddy from my clan. We only ended up making like 800k off of 2 kills during the whole night. One guy brought staff of light and tried to rag us but we killed him for it, and the other guy banked claws before he came in and grabbed bursts and a dragon dagger, and we killed him for that too.. Everyone decides to bank their gear, or try to anti-lure us. Is my method far too obvious if everyone can tell?

I'm just confused if i'm doing something wrong or we just aren't meeting quite the right people. If anyone could help me out or give me a different idea of how to get someone to go into the purple portal with me, it'd be appreciated.

 

You probably aren't talking properly. Also, a lot of people will go bank there stuff, you have to tell them to take the stuff you want from them out of their bank.

 

Yeah, normally i play it as if i'm anti-luring and trying to make a team. Maybe it's a bit obvious. And yeah, i don't really mind though. If they start feeling fishy and mentioning getting lured, i'll tell them that then can just 1 item with Claws/Godsword/SS and protect it if they feel unsafe, but i turn prayer off. Am i doing something wrong there too, and should be re-assuring them instead of giving into their wants?

 

It's easier said than done tell them to tank their bank. I guess you gotta find the right, somewhat stupid person easy enough to fool into wherever you are luring them.

My friend asked me to go luring with him and i turned it down, in a couple of hours he managed to lure a BGS. 3m in 2 hours? :/ not the best of loots with the amount of effort needed to get it.

That thread has absolutely no correlation to what i'm asking here. Please quote me a post on there that has an answer on how to get people to bring their banks into a lure. Also, i've already checked the guides section and nothing there interested me/wasn't leaked. Please go raise your post count elsewhere or answer my question. Thank you.

 

you were asking ways to get people to go for lures i mentioned there were some good guides for sale and some decent free ones in the sections, just because you may have known the "lure" mentioned in the guides and are too cheap to pay for a good guide doesnt make my post any less relevant. if you cant get people to do what you want it sounds like you and or your talker are just failures at doing your job or are targeting the wrong type of people in the first place. People arent going to give up their best lures for free, if the free ones arent working you need to get creative and or get a better talker, no need to be a dick and make pointless accusations of trying to raise post count. l2lure theres plenty of good ones that still work all over youtube you could check out too.. (so im gunna go ahead and stick by my look around before making threads comment)

 

I mean, i'll be honest with you.. Most purple portal lures use the same talking method anyhow by what everyone says. I think i may just need to get a different talker, as some people are better at convincing people than others. Sorry for the rash accusation, it just seemed like a really short answer with no intent to really help. I was wrong though, and thank you for your input.

don't use portal lures lol... everybody knows all portal lures, simple as that really.

 

What would you suggest then? it's far easier than getting someone to bring their cash stack into the wilderness.

 

l0l kid you just can't talk.. My clan of irl friends and some not but still we get daily phats well some dry days and some with 5+ 50-300m splits. It al comes down to talking.
