Real World Trading warning mail?

Don't touch any links that those emails send because they will infect your PC because those are phishing emails.

 

To explain the phishing emails aimed at people who have used RiD, the reason behind that is that Arcarde part of the forum, a piece of software programmed by some other vBulletin programmer, had a vulnerability allowing the entire userbase's login info being collected by the hacker (~106,000 accounts).

This includes username, password, and email address. RiD has completely removed the Arcade, and fixed all vulnerabilities related to the issue and made it so that it cannot happen again.

Basically, if you get an email about using RiD, it's a phishing attempt, delete those emails

 

Answered. Interestingly enough, Jagex vs. John Does is a real case, but it seems to be aimed at the people who exploited jagex software to make bots
