How did you discover RuneScape?

I discovered RuneScape back around 9 years ago, my friends at school were talking about this awesome game that you could kill stuff on, talk to each other and then trade your items! they were talking about how much they got from goblins and stuff and i was like tell me tell! and i went home made an account and played it ever since really.

What about you guys?

 

Somewhat similar for me, I was in I believe 6th grade (I've been graduated since 2011) with a group of friends, about 20 of us, and word got out about it and we all hopped on it, and played it all through out middle school, once high school came I just botted the living shit out of it for all the 4 years, ever since I've graduated I don't play it anymore, nor have any desire too.

 

Shame, i'm glad i still enjoy playing it.

Do you still use sythe on a regular basis to do RS Related business though?

 

I don't even remember how I discovered it honestly, think I randomly found out about it on the internet through another site.

 

Yep, most definitely on a regular basis, I love the business that can be made off of these forums, and I love the community.
OT: Approximately how old were you went you first hopped onto RS?

 

when I was in high school, IT class.. we used to just play games instead of listen to the teacher lol, we found this game called Runescape in Miniclips :laugh:

 

Well a friend told me when i was 11 so we played that for years together till now combat update comes :'(

 

Are you quiting when the rework comes out then like fire?

I found out when almost everyone would play it at my public library, back in 2002.

 

My friends older brother played and we thought it looked fun, went home the next day and started.

 

I found out about runescape through my cousins, when I used to sleep over and stuff they used to let me watch/play runescape and ever since that I started playing then quit for 3 years and came back this year.

 

A real life friend showed me it around 2004-2005.

 

friend told me in 2001 cuz classic was the shit really.. then i didnt play til 04 ish and it was so fun.. and i havent stopped yet.. one of the only people to have 2003 mems in avatar on forum

 

I don't remember to be honest, I know I started when I was 9-10 though, 8 years ago. I was the first to play it of anyone I knew back then. I did not find it by googling it, I had never heard of RS, or even the term MMORPG,... Also not any sort of advertisements online or so.

I have absolutely no clue, I must be fucking stupid.
