Commonly Asked RuneScape Questions


Runescape Accounts & Email.

-Recovering your account with out knowing the email.
Send an email to [email protected], including all the non-password evidence you that will prove ownership.
A member of staff will either reply with details of the registered email or ask for more proof of ownership (Don't think this is an easy way to recover other peoples accounts it will not work).

--I Bought a RuneScape Account can they recover it?
Yes, the original owner can always recover there account, its safer to buy from a trusted source.

Transferring & buying runescape gold.

-Is it safe?
Yes, its safe although there is always a chance that you will get caught.

--Where/Who can I buy gold from?
You can buy gold (http://sythe.org/forumdisplay.php?f=375) from any sythe member whom is selling it, although it is strongly recommended that you either buy from a trusted source or use an OMM (http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1302647).

---How do I transfer gold?
There are many different ways to transfer gold. Trade, Duel Areana, Red Portal & Wildy. If you are buying from a good gold seller they will help you through this process.

I believe this should be commonly asked Sythe Question as they are more focus on trading on Sythe.

Other than that, its decent enough for newcomers to understand.

 

This should go in the Sythe Help section, not RS2 General.

But it's great you've put the time into trying to help others, can i suggest you try to make it more lengthy? add more details to seach part, it looks pretty short for a guide on such a big thing.

 

seeing as this sounds alot more market based after reading through the post you were talking about runescape account help and buying gold (which already has stuff stickied pertaining to that in market) or beta questions to which there is also a designated thread stickied ( http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1409244 ) or runescape general knowledge (already stickied http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1385432 ) not trying to be rude but you look like your just trying to get something stickied to boost status and we have all the stickies we need pertaining to any thing you listed in your post. now if you CAN figure out how to make people use them that would be great

 

Edit account and email:

If you don't have the email or someone has registered one on your account your best option is "[email protected]" it is the fastest replying system because it is the most universal staff position (every mod is active in it).

If your account is a member you will get it back within 3 days, assuming you'be provided the proper details.

Non members usually get their accounts back in 5-7 days.

If you need a lock, you can make a new account and post on forums telling them to lock your account.

In your email tell them you have no history of the email and need it removed, include your recovery questions, date creted, ISP, IP, membership, etc, etc.
