recovering accounts

is it true if the email on the account is changed to yours it is impossible for the original account owner to recover it?

 

no, you can post on forums and jagex will take the email off for a manual recovery

 

thanks for the reply but you were a little vague.. do you post on a completely different account?

 

yes you post on runescape forums on another account of yours from the same computer or ip and tell them to enable manual recovery as your account got hacked they will then enable manual locked recovery and you fill it out and if its successful email will be removed along with the recoveries

Please note, No matter what accounts are always recoverable.

 

Honestly, Jagex sucks dick at everything, I really wonder of how many E-Mails / Posts there have been, how many people have been awarded their accounts.

 

People can still recover the account if they are the original owner, they just need to post on the forums saying that they were hacked and then they will remove the email on the account and lock it and only the original owner can unlock it.
