General Staff Feedback

Its not a personal attack, it was telling you how it is. I work 2 jobs and am getting a 3rd soon and have a social life. I will get to you when I get to you.

Point being? Its IRC, I am there to relax, not deal with drama.

This isn't the Finn era in case you didn't notice, even though I have the go ahead to ban over personal insults at any time I wish.




Bottom line is I will get to you when I feel like it, stop bitching because I am not at your every beck and call. I don't doubt we can get things rolling soon.

 

Didn't think this was worth a seperate thread, since it basically is staff feedback.

Anyway, I'd like to "complain" about the time it takes to get your avatar changed to a 150x100 px one. I posted in the avatar request thread a week ago, and I don't understand why it would take this long.

Now, I'm sure staff has more important things to do, but I'd like someone to clarify why it would take a week+ for something so (seemingly) simple.

 

SuF has to be one of the staff members who I respect the most on the site. We've never talked all too much but ever sense I became active ~1 year ago I've recognized you as the one who is always trying to do things to further the site. As a Support mod I saw you as that guy with the green user name who always seemed to be helping people and doing awesome things in community general, etc. Now as a global (and I don't think I've been more pleased with a promotion) you show intelligence, commitment, speaking skills... and dedication that I find a huge contribution.

 

On the first post, I listed some other information I could provide on request, as it was sensitive information.

I don't think it would have severely inconvenienced the staff to merely make a request of any evidence that would change the outcome of the dispute. (e.g, 'Hey, Grave, can you prove this in addition to what you already provided?') This was a very large amount of information to recall, and I'm sure I may have left out some aspects, as I did not know it would be required and/or I was not allowed to post someone's personal information on the forums.

The evidence given should have been enough to show that Corey is legally responsible for the chargeback. I honestly don't understand which part of it is so unclear. The vague response I received came out something like this to me: You can't specifically prove that Corey's malpractice (this was proven, and by the contract, this alone makes him responsible) caused damages. How exactly would I be able to prove this, whether I had 'full' evidence and documentation of everything? Keep in mind, Corey had also admitted to not submitting the proper chargeback information when I requested it last year.

My apologies for trusting a respectable member for an extended period of time. I truly mean this, as I understand what you mean, and I regret not creating the report sooner. I'd appreciate it if we can get back on topic after this post. I don't want anyone defending me or further scrutiny. If a moderator would like to specify what evidence I was missing in the report, I'd love to double check, as I'm almost positive there was enough evidence to prove everything, if not an excessive amount.

Yes, the original post was from my memory, but as Corey challenged me I built up a large amount of evidence to respond to him.

 

It's easy to forget about since none of the globals generally go into the donators lounge. If its been a few days just PM a global and ask if they can do the thread and they generally will. It doesn't take that long, we just forget.

Matthew - Thanks for getting the PP donation account working again, I know this happened a week ago or so but I was away then. The problem was more on PayPal's side than here but you still kept on at them and had the problem fixed. I hope to donate again over the course of the summer, thanks for getting it fixed Matthew

I am very glad to see the three of you working so diligently for the progression of sythe lately. Things have been picking up quite a bit around here, and you three are some of the biggest driving forces behind it.

Second this, Karl and SuF are doing a very good job. Karl always halps me whenever i need something although he may not want to.

 

I like the new rule preventing the screamer link being posted.
Also I like the staff asking for feedback for possibly new changes.

 

Zerkerfist is a great mod, i submitted a report on a guy bumping his own Runescape video's...which who the hell bumps video's and sure enough he was ban evading and Zerkerfist sent me a message thanking me for submitting a report on the guy... swell dude..

 

Just wanted to say thank you for the clean and organized setup. For being brand new, and also new to the system of 'transfers', the work and guides you guys have made have been stellar, thanks for all the work.

 

Superman and zerkerfist - Both Do a great job with spam reports, almost everyone I make is taken care of by one of them.

Sorry don't have any feedback for any other staff haven't really encountered many but thanks for keeping the site running smooth.

I'd love to see more of you filling out the entire form from the first page. Obviously you don't have to, but it would be very helpful!

 

The suggestions forum is getting pretty cluttered. It'd be nice if someone took the time to start moving things in to "Approved Suggestions" or "Denied Suggestions". It would make things look neater/more professional.
