Make "hidden" links to screamers, etc against the rules.

It is extremely annoying and obnoxious and immature.
There is no rule currently against it.
An example of this annoyance can be found in my signature.

You always click links at your own risk even if it is the screamer.
To stop clicking on these links just hover over it.

Hyperlinks shouldn't be against the rules, they're used for many things, and are generally very useful. Screamers only stay in the spam forum, and not in the general area, so I don't think it causes any harm.

I've found all the immature kids hang out in the spam forum posting dumb stuff, so I stay away from there, have better things to do. Hardly a problem since that's usually where stuff like that is posted. Just avoid the spam forum.

Problem isn't with spam forum, it is with it being in people's signatures. I should have specified I only want it to be punishable if it is a hyperlink in someone's signature.

Maybe, I disagree with getting rid of the screamers, and hyperlinks. But, I do think that we should have a rule that says that you can't have misdirecting signature hyperlinks. For example your sig..

I personally am disgusted by this "Screamer" fad. It's immature, and in some cases, could potentially be psychologically damaging to some of our younger users, or possibly the younger siblings of our users who may be present at the time when a screamer link is clicked.

Screamers and other links of the type definitely should not belong in signatures, nor in my opinion, should they be in the spam forum. They're more harm than they are worth, especially with them being as easily disguised as a common puu.sh link.

Screamers haven't once successfully scared, or even startled me, but it's really annoying when people flood the spam forum with screamers. The SF is quickly becoming a cesspool conglomeration of stupid content, and since screamers are adding to this, I support disallowing pseudo-linking "shock sites".

I also wish to add - The first time I stumbled across one, and actually had my sound on (I came across them multiple times with sound off) -- I had a 2 year old and a 4 year old sitting next to me, which is what I was referring to in my previous post. Neither of them slept that night.

Actualy.. I'm making the decision now. If an admin wishes to overrule this, then fine, you have that option and the authority.

Screamers and the like are banned in general, from all forums and sub-forums.

If I find one, you'll be infracted, and the post will be edited/deleted. If you do it again, I'll forumban you from the forum you posted it in for at least a couple days. If you put it in your signature, I'll have your signature rights revoked for a week.
