All the original account owner has to do is email Jagex and tell them to match his IP with the first IP on the account, ever. They will issue it back.

What i suggest people who buy accounts is to make a dummy account and put all the wealth on it. Transfer 5M at a time to the account to ensure it all doesn't get stolen and at the end of the night if you have a lot of wealth on the account to take it off and put on the dummy account.

 

Basically if the seller was the original owner, he can recover it by emailing JaGeX and asking for a IP match. The original owner can ALWAYS recover the account. And that is why you should only buy accounts from very trusted members. (100+ Vouches)

 

If the other guy is the original creator of the account, he will generally be able to recover pretty easily. He knows all the old passwords, generally everything about the account. Including having a matching IP to the original one. Bought accounts are never truly "safe", just some people are more "safe" than others depending on how trusted they are.

 

accounts are always "recoverable" by the original owner sadly, just don't put too much wealth on the account.

Everyone who sells an account recovers it 100% of the time 99% of the time, whether it takes them 1 day or 1 year.

 

Fairly easy if he has good RuneScape knowledge, just has to email jagex about IP address and provide other information only a original owner would know.

 

Just wait for like 1/2 weeks and than put some wealth on it.
