Hey, I need to know how much chinchompa's and prayer potions it would take to get 99 ranged.
Current stats:
73 Ranged
52 Prayer
45 Defense

Yes, I'm a zerker pure.
I also need some help on the gear and on the place where I'll have to train.
Ape Atoll is where I'll be training probably.
If you have any suggestions, please list them below
Money is NO problem at all.
I just want 99 ranged as fast as possible.

chinning is a complete waste of time at 73 ranged honestly your accuracy isnt going to get you very far with chins you would be better off using darts/knives to 80 (if your rich because you will still miss A LOT while chinning) or 85 (when chinning realllly starts getting good) if you are chinning in the ape atoll tunnels do the quest for salve amulet (e) as the zombies apes are affected by it and using it will get you tonnnns more xp/hr GL on 99

 

You might use 55-60k red chins going from your level to 99. Wear void if you have the patience to get it, train at ape atoll and use the range prayer. You will still get 300k+ range xp an hour using red chins at that level and 220k+ using greys. It is nowhere near a waste of time if you decide to start chinning right now, either way you are still getting a ton of xp.

The amulet only works with mele =(

 

ahahahh fuck my life, i wore it totally thinking it was doing something from 85-97 XD amulet of ranging would be the best bet then
Also it kinda depends on what you consider a "waste" with all the misses he will get at lvl 73 he will literally be throwing away money, then again OP said money is no issue lol so i guess it kinda depends on your personal gp/xp preferences

Yeah.. i wouldn't even bother chinning until 80-85 ranged.

 

I mean, if you have money to burn then it doesn't really matter what the "ideal" level for chinning is, it will still be far faster than using darks or knives at wherever. By the way your original post sounds, you have plenty of money so i would personally say that you could start chinning right now if you wanted to!

 

YouTube would be your best guide here, but here as some other pointers, using things like Void and Ranging potions will really increase the speed as you'l have a higher max hit for each skeleton you hit increasing your XP rate. Also you could choose to Eagle eye which is a lot more effective these days with prayer renewals and flasks etc.

Use knives at ogres in ardougne till 80 then start chinning. Zombies are easier to bank then ape atoll
