Will Runescape Ever Rollback Eco..?

idky i am making this thread other than the reason that i heard from a friend of mine that knows a few people who knows things said that with all the bots and other problems in-game they may do a full rollback on the economy to get more people to play and clean up the game.

 

Doubtful. In the 10years the game has been around they've never done anything of the sort.

Bots affect the economy in the "now"... because they put a lot of items in the market but if the bots get nuked again it will only take a few weeks - few months before the items are distributed, prices fluctuate and it stabilizes itself.

The only real reason for any economy rollback in a game is if there is a MAJOR exploit or a duplication that puts uncontrolled items into the economy.

in the 10 years the game has been around have they ever reworked combat completely ? NOPE... yet thats exactly what they are doing now, i dont put anything past jagex anymore, rwting microtransactions out the ass new cbt rework full roll back lol doesnt sound too absurd if you look at it in perspective with all these other recent updates

No that won't ever happen lol, do you know how many people would quit because of that? especially how money grabbing jagex are currently.

 

I can actually see jagex doing something like this. Then offering gold at a high price. I wouldn't put it past them
