    Dark bags under my eyes

Hey, I want to talk to you guys about something and hopefully I can get some tips or help.

I have really dark bags under my eyes, I've had them since I was 12 years old ( back then they weren't that dark, just some regular bags) and now i'm 17 and lately I've been having really bad bags under my eyes

They really lower my self-esteem because people always tell me I look mad or angry when I'm really not angry, it's just my eyes that have a very intimidating look, even there was a time when one girl at class told me that she was scared of me.

I really want to find a way to get rid of them or atleast make them less noticeable,

I've read some stuff in the Internet about this and the most common answer is always " Sleep more" or " you aren't sleeping enough", the thing is that even when I sleep +10 hours or only 5 hours I have the same dark bags under my eyes.

So here is my question: Any of you guys have or had these bags and how did you got rid of them or made them better?

    Thanks

This could be genetic...have you thought about looking at your family line to see if anyone else has them? Try putting special lotions or creams on them or if it comes to this put a little makeup on there.. or go see an eye doctor about it (you could have a disease idk)

Just do something about it instead of asking us :)

Maybe try a consistent 8 Hour sleep every night, thats best for you, 10 hours is too much :p and also put moisturiser on the skin round your eyes, and like Jacmob mentioned, maybe try some other creams or lotions, Good luck ! :)

i have some pretty legit bags under my eyes and ive always notcied if i go 2 3 maybe 4 weeks straight with good sleep they do diminish in size n color. You cant get good sleep for 4 or 5 days and think theyre gonna go away. try being on a strict sleep schedule with more then 8+hrs a day for a month n see what happens. All else fails smoke a jay. Always worked for me.

thanks for the answers guys, gonna keep that in mind, i'm applying some moisturizer cream in my eye bags and i'm trying to sleep more.

And about the genetic thing, I really doubt its that, my family doesn't have that bags in the eyes, just some normal dark skin under eyes ( just like everyone else) the only exception is my dad, he does have bags but that's because he is quite old and he really doesn't take care of his skin.

you could always try using a bit of cover up to make them a lot less noticable, and if people think you look angry/sad all the time, smiling more could make you seem a lot more friendly.
