Is Powerbot Ban-safe?

I mean I know there are obvious chances of getting caught, but I am considering botting for a bit and I'd like to know if it's worth risking it... And if it is, which scripts are safe and which aren't.

 

Depends on the script. Usually the ones set and put official on the Script page, they're safe. The ones which you find in the Script section of the forum, they depend on the scripter. Go with the main official scripts, if you cant find your desired script, look for them in the script and make sure to read the last page to see it's most recent feedbacks.

Basically, if you are reported and investigated closer by the ICU department, you will be banned if caught using a Powerbot script. You're only safe until you get caught, and then it's game-over.

From personal experience, I've had 3 bans with Powerbot.

 

Look on the feedback of the script you're trying to add. If there isn't any bad feedback regarding bans, it may be safe, but you're botting so you're never going to be safe no matter what.

 

this is 100% on the script not the bot itself if you can post some scripts you plan to use I can give you a idea on how good their antiban etc. is.

 

I'm mainly gonna use woodcutting scripts, for f2p willows. Any good one?

Thought I cannot seem to see a way to report botters nowadays? I mean it all works with the chatbox...

 

Botting comes with a risk, it's cheating, there is always a risk to get banned.
Don't bot on an account u don't want to lose is my advice.

But i botted300m+ xp with rsbuddy+powerbot together, never been banned or anything, botted 24/7 with free scripts.

 

I know that, I'm simply looking for most safe bot scripts. I used one with some antiban meter but the bot is almost useless as it takes 15 minutes to click on a tree. MegaWoodCutter is safe or... ?

 

Honestly, nothing you find at Powerbot is 100% safe from ban. If you get reported (which is very easy to do, there is now a right click -> report option so anyone you can see you can report within seconds) and investigated, you will be banned, that's just the way it works.

Tbh, if you're looking for the safest bots as far as bans, you're looking at the wrong site. RiD's ban rate speaks for itself: 37 bans since 2008 across 12 bots with over 600,000 hours botted by the community, and ALL of those people were breaking the RiD Guidelines that are posted on the site (http://www.robotzindisguise.com/Guidelines.htm), and there hasn't been a single ban following those Guidelines in over 4 years. The problem is that it's premium, and while it may seem expensive, it comes down to 6.5-8 cents per hour of usage, but it comes out to cost about the same per 99 as you would pay for other premium bots. Even if you get reported while using RiD, there isn't anything to worry about as far as bans. I believe they are the only major bot site that can honestly claim that there haven't been ANY bans after the Bot Nuke, even out of our suicide botting users, even when reported.

I'm not trying to advertise, but you do seem to be searching for the safest bots, and tbh Powerbot is not where you want to look for something like that.

There is no such thing.. if you ever in runescape history find a ban-free not I would pay top dollar...

Where are you getting this information from? It seems like a load of bullshit to me.

I've been a powerbot user for over 2 years and ever since the last bot nuke, when the bot was up I haven't seen a complaint about any resets or bans. The only way I can see someone getting from bots a lot easier is if the script is a piece of shit, otherwise you're pretty much good. The Prime nuke coming up is not to ban any bots, but to make sure none can bot for a long time. I can only see them banning f2p bots, or the ones who use the free trial. Banning a mass about of member bots is bad business. Anyone who had a brain would know that. They've realized the position they are in, ever wondered why free trade came back? The investors brought it back. It's a business to them and a game to us. Making the wrong move will kill them. Just saying

 

It's happened to me, 3 times actually. On accounts doing under 2 hours a day.

Also had over a dozen bans using RSBuddy as well, which is similar as far as the way the bots work and are detected.

Oh, and also the fact that I'm friends with someone who is very close to multiple members of the Jagex ICU department. There's some info I have to keep to myself for obvious reason to protect the person, but there's always bits and pieces that I can spit out here and there.

Also, I never said that one report = ban. I said that if you get reported.... AND THEN get investigated, which is a completely different thing, then you would be banned. Just because you get reported doesn't mean you 100% will get investigated. It takes time and gathering of plenty of evidence to make a ban.

I've seen posts of people getting banned, and nothing has changed between before the nuke and after the nuke, it's still not safe if you get investigated. I've been banned 3 times by Powerbot alone. Sure bans are less often than before the bot nuke, but that doesn't mean they don't happen.

Also, just because they aren't likely to mass ban, doesn't mean they have no reason to do so. Think about this: mass ban all the goldfarming bots, and guess what, their operators just replace all the accounts and buy members again. Jagex profits all the more. They tend to lose money on banning people who only bot on one account; their main.

You can't base your risk of ban on luck my friend, because one day, your luck might just run out.

 

It is pretty safe, the bot itself only stucks in one or two randoms, that' all.

For myself I never got banned and I'm using Powerbot a few years now.

 

I've tried using RiD but it simply does not work as It tells me I do not have access to the files to run it (after I extracted RiD). Followed the installing guideline too but it's useless when there is no "FAQ" or "Common errors and how to fix them" type of thing.

 

Yes, i've been using powerbot since 2 years, and have only gotten a ban on 1 account which was removed 1 month later. This was last year april.

Use powerbot... its the best bot out there.
