I hate my name too, it has a bit more history (been using it for almost 7 years now as an online alias) but I grew out of a about two years ago.. not much I could do though, I've already signed up everywhere as mohtasaunique


Anyway, questions-- and sorry if they're already asked, cbf to look through your three pages c:-- what's your dream job, what do you plan to do with a degree in computer science, are you considering any armed forces, and what's your family like? Big/small, social/reserved, wealthy/notsowealthy (if you don't mind me asking), siblings parents grandparents aunts/uncles, etc

Yeah haha, I've had a lot of online aliases before, but none of them really mean anything. I don't think I've ever registered on site like Sythe before, where I actually became fully immersed in the community after joining. If I had known I was going to put my roots down when I joined Sythe, I would have tried harder to come up with a cooler username

Very good questions btw I don't think any of them have been asked so far, so I will answer them for you:

Dream job: I am not really sure what my dream job is, to be honest. I've had many different dreams and career aspirations over the years (especially when I was younger), and so it tends to change quite often. Realistically, I would love to have a career related to computers that pays very well, that I really love & enjoy doing, and something that allows me a lot of freedom - such as working from home, traveling abroad on the job and being able to work from my laptop, etc.

Future plans: The program I am entering next year is a 3 year program where you graduate with a degree in computer science. The reason I like how this program looks, is that it is very broad (you learn a ton of useful computer skills that can be applied to various different career paths), and there are also various exit points. I can either finish the 3 years with the Co-op work experience, graduate with the certifications, and basically go straight into the work force doing IT related work, website design etc, OR I can graduate the CST program with my certificate, and then transfer over to a University to do another few years in a more narrowed field (something like computer engineering, for example).

I am hoping that during the program, I will figure out a niche that works for me, and discover exactly where my strengths are and what interests me. But at this point, I think I want to transfer over to a university once I graduate from the program, and then further my education.

Armed Forces: All I can say is hell no lol. There is nothing wrong with the Armed Forces at all, and I think it is actually a fantastic career path and the benefits are astounding. There are certain aspects of a career in the Armed Forces that are very appealing to me, but I have never even considered actually joining & I just don't think it is for me. I am not sure I would even be accepted into the AF's either.

Family: My immediate family is quite large for the size of house we live in. My mother & father have been happily married for over 20 years, and I am the eldest of 4 children, all boys. We used to have 2 male dogs in the house, as well as one of my Grandpas living with us, so my mom feels pretty smothered by males & testosterone at times I imagine :laugh:

We are by no means rich, but we aren't poor either. For such a large family, my parents both do pretty well. My Dad has a fairly high paying job, and my Mom runs a small business of her own teaching dance now that us kids are much older and don't need to be watched constantly. I would say we are pretty much just an average, middle-class family.

Well I haven't really thought about a name change before, but it seems all the kewl kidz are getting their names changed these days haha. If I do request a name change at some point, I would probably just want to shorten it to "Zerker" or "Zerk", as the "fist" part is pretty lame and has no significance whatsoever haha.

The other name I wouldn't mind would be my first name "Jazz". It is short, professional, and still kinda unique and I think it would be cool to have as my username

I am looking forward to it quite a bit. I've already received permission so it is just a matter of having them applied, woop!! Very excited.

And no haha, that would be a pretty wild name!

As for how long I plan to stay, that is a good question. I never planned on even getting involved in Sythe in the first place haha. I came here to sell a few upgrades and had no interest whatsoever in joining the forums, yet after a couple of months I really started to enjoy posting around and exploring the site.

At this point, I don't see myself leaving anytime soon unless I just absolutely cannot fit time to browse Sythe into my schedule. Currently, that is not a problem. So I will likely be here for years to come, so you better get used to it!

I smoke, and am currently trying to quit. As for the drugs, I have a long history with all sorts of drugs and I'm currently on MMT (Methadone Maintenance Treatment) because I've been physically addicted to opiates for the last few years.

I don't talk about my drug use as much anymore as I am supposed to "act professionally" now and I know it doesn't set a very good example, or make me look very good. But this website has been a phenomenal positive force for me over the past year, and I owe much of my success in staying clean to this site. When I joined last July I was literally only a few days clean, fresh on MMT, had nearly lost my life to a serious OD just weeks prior to joining, and I spent countless hours of my first few months struggling to maintain my clean time while talking about my addiction to strangers on this site, and sharing my stories in Personal Support.

There was something about the veil of anonymity that made me feel comfortable sharing my stories and talking about the hell I was going through, and so my first few months on Sythe was a huge, huge game changer for me, and what lead to me growing to love this community so much. I never once expected I would get so much out of a RuneScape trading site (what I first came here for), but it has been a wonderful surprise and an enlightening journey. I've met many great people here and I hope to stay for some time as I continue to get my life back to normal.

So I don't use drugs very often anymore, no. But I know a ton about them and have way too much experience under my belt of using drugs and living in that world, enough to last me a life time. If you ever have any questions or want to discuss the subject of drugs, I am happy to answer them or discuss it with you. I still get people who approach me about it often out of curiosity
