Jagex Loves Money, They Won't Nuke All The Bots.

All you guys are saying you have at least another month to get the skills you're trying to, but whats the point? Even though they may not ban you this month, you will eventually if this bot nuke happens again

 

that's not even the purpose of this nuke. and last nuke they didn't ban as many accounts as people really thought. the people that are going to get banned more likely than not are the injection/reflection bots. usually the color bots do fine.

 

They will nuke the bots, but no one will be banned. The bots will just most likely stop. If they were to ban the amount of players botting, a lot of people wont be playing runescape.

 

So you just contradicted yourself? I'm arguing that there will always be bots in Runescape no matter what Jagex do, the exact same as you just stated/. Your arguing against yourself here, I'm not quite sure why..

 

Because the first time they were in total denial about the scale of botting in runescape. Many of Mods made comments oh it's just 20% of runescape players that are bots or less. I highly doubt Insight will allow Jagex to drop off 75% of their paying members. Investment bankers do not think long term so the argument bots are killing the game won't fly with them. If revue stream drops management at Jagex will change I'd image those chaps over at jagex are between a rock & a hard place atm.

I was agreeing with you in my last post that there will always be bots for RS, there were even Color bots left after the first bot nuke.

My main point being, is that if Jagex were to find a more permanent solution for injection bots, it would be beneficial to the RS economy, but eventually it would be replaced by other kinds of bots. Basically, they really aren't going to lose a ton of money just by nuking bots or banning them. They know that botters will always find a way to come back and pay for membership, so they wouldn't lose that much money if they kept doing different kinds of nukes or bot fighting techniques. It's not like once Jagex nukes the botters are just going to give up and never pay for membership again as soon as there is a working bot.

 

I think also that they dont ban accounts, if they did green dragons wouldnt be full of them -_-

I think its true, they wont ban everybody that they can.. if they did that they would be in the shit and habbo would probably get more players and maplestory would over run them in the charts, runescape is shit already and i expect it to get worse, its that bad ive resulted in selling my gold and my accounts.. id love to see fagex die off... it would give lots of people their lives back

 

Players or bots, it's money for Jagex.
100% humans 0% : less money.
0% humans 100% bots: no point in botting, so the end of RS.

Jagex is just trying to balance it.

 

of coarse runescape loves money, so they will never ban bots. but what they could do is break the reflection of the client so bots dont work and they dont have to ban the players

 

tbh Jagex is a business, they run the game for money not because of the people who play it, they are getting more money from membership than from the people who have stopped playing because of the bots..

they want money, bots are hundreds of thousands if not millions a year in membership etc. they don't want them all gone.

Bots are only profitable for jagex if they get membership. They crack down on f2p bots a lot, but are a lot more lenient on p2p bots.

 

I wish there were no bots imagine how much easier it would be to make money! I think the bots are ruining the Runescape economy and I wish Jagex cared more about its players :/
