should i train strength to bot dungeoneering on a 1 def pure?

At the moment i have a range pure, but he's getting crap xp in dungeoneering because range sucks in dungeoneering. Also, sagittare is causing my bot to abort dungeons alot.

Current stats:

His combat level is 52-53 (haven't checked recently)
I will not be training attack above 50 to avoid combat levels

So is it worth training melee to get better xp in dungeoneering, taking into consideration that melee training takes time.

 

I would say bot while you can, optimus may not be coming this month, but I would train dung as high as you can, since it's sometimes annoying to train.
If you want a chaotic then sure, train to those requirements, but I would get your non-combat stats higher such as construction, farming, and summoning so that you can open more doors.

Edit: what's your end-goal? Ccb?
What are your binds? Sagittare only has 120 lifepoints at level 67

 

My goal at the moment is arcane stream neck. I will also get a chaotic crossbow eventually.

As for Optimus, i doubt it will be coming any time soon. Jagex are too busy milking the game with their microtransactions. It will likely come with the evolution of combat (which is when i'm planning to quit, anyway.)

 

In jagex's latest youtube video they referred to optimus as being something that will change the game. That's pretty interesting and I'm not sure if they mean remove a specific bot type for a long period of time, or ban a bunch of accounts.

If you think about it, more than half of runescape is botted. So by doing this they would lose a ton of money. I wouldn't know how they would go about this, but it was pretty interesting.

I'd say train strength quickly as possible to obtain a maul. It shouldn't take to long to get at least 60 or 70 to get a katagon maul. So the answer is yes, if you're going to bot that too.

 

what's your xp now? it might be faster if you just used idungeon's leech feature

 

I could, but who would i leech off? My main's and pure's dungeoneering levels are way too far apart (103 and 58)

 

Have your main do lower floors to compensate your pure.

 

I don't think i could be bothered. I usually just stick my bots on then check back in like 6 hours or so.
