First Chaotic?

So coming up to that first chaotic with about 197k tokens and not sure if I should get a rapier or a maul. Usually from about 1-80 dung, I was confident on a rapier but when I started wanting to raise my summoning level, I was more influenced towards a maul for waterfiends... What would you guys say?

 

rapier is good for almost anything like slayer, bossing and stuff

but if you're only intersted in camping waterfiends for charms you should get maul coz maul f***ing owns waterfiends lol

 

Damn. Rapier would be great for slayer. Didn't even think about that...

 

raiper all the way. maul has one use pretty much .. waterfiends and a zammy spear or SS does pretty well there with good stats either way. raiper is usefull for tons of things, i even saw someone hitting 500s with it at waterfiends XD
there used to be a great thread about the chaotics maul vs raiper vs cls stickied . imma make a thread in suggestions to get it back as it was full of great info

Personally i'd say either rapier or longsword for PvM.

No. How good is CLS?

 

its great for pvm in general and bossing , alot of people call it the one handed god sword with 5 speed which is all and all a pretty accurate description. its considerably more accurate than a rapier so for stuff with high def it outclasses it quite a bit . dps on stuff with lowish defense (like MOST slayer tasks) its usually out hit by rapier and for pvp rapier wins outright. it really depends on your priorities in game

 

As a final decision, I think I'm getting a rapier :O

 

honestly as a first chaotic unless you just boss all day the rapier is the best decision im a slayer fiend so i use it alllllllllllll the time and i HATE dung, i dont bot but my unbridled hatred of dung has nearly turned me to the dark side

 

Been using iDung about 19 hours a day for about a week now. Not a very high ban rate and you should start getting some tokens before Optimus comes which is pretty soon..
