May i change my username ! Privacy breached

When i joined sythe i did not intend to get into it as much as i have. Now that i am into it and all I have realised that using my real name as username is a bad idea! I went to create a new account but because of my IP it would not let me.
I do not want to use this username because i don't want my name to be widely available for people that i do not give permission to see.

Is there someway i can change my username or can you reset the IP thing so i am able to create a new account under a new username?

You can either use a proxy temporarily to create a new account, and then request an SRB (Self-Requested Ban) for this one, or you can post your desired username & the e-mail address you'd like to have registered on your new account, and I can request your account creation from an Admin.

PM a moderator with the E-Mail and the username of your desired account name, and they will pass the request on to an Administrator. From there, your account will be created and you will be able to "request" your password via the "Lost Password" function.
