Just messing around

Basically for some reason the internet turned off yesterday so I decided to mess around with photoshop and see what I could come up with, so here is the outcome:



I'm looking for some like Emperor_Nero to comment because I really want to know if this style can be developed. Comment and CnC please.

 

I think it would look so much better if it was of better quality. I am assuming that low quality look is the style you were going for but it just doesn't work with this piece. Can you go back and take off some of the filters and get it to the original quality and repost the piece?

The hquality style looks way better . Burn the backgrounds at sides a bit would make the render stand out.

Agreed with Simaas. The high quality looks far better. Scrap the low qual one IMO. It just doesn't flow with that piece.

Keep the high quality, man. One thing I would recommend is Make a couple layers of those rectangles that you used to darken it. You can clearly see a rectangle standing out, and that distracts me from the focal point. I'd only sharpen it to 60, by the way. That way it doesn't look so sharp it looks odd. Try adding some splatters and clipping masks a little bit. There's too much space around in there. I like the whole idea, your work needs improvement. Just keep it up and you'll get very good over time.

To be honest it just looks like it's be converted in paint from PNG to JPEG at low quality :/ no offence, try making it bigger and a better looking crisp quality

Keep working on the background on that one, It makes the tag less interesting.
