Suggestion: Simba Rank

EDIT: On second thought, I'll give this more thought.

 

Simba is NOT specialized for RS.
Simba can be used for ANYTHING that SCAR is used for.
It is a programmable/scriptable macroing program for ANYTHING!

Agree about somehow merging them into one though!

 

I support this, for obvious reasons I would think.

Hmmm... 07-19-2010 I suggest you do some reading and you'll find RSBot has been around for years. Infact it looks like longer than Simba, the current RSBot wasn't the first RSBot and the current owner and developer are different from the original owner(s) and developer(s) the project(RSBot) has been through many different developers over the years and the bot has been modified many times.

Ok well maybe it isn't, but glad you agree on the merge.

Oh right, didn't see the quote. Don't say it isn't designed for RS when the admins there release addons which allow botting for RuneScape easy.

 

I'm aware of it, I was there with Speljohan when he created it... I was not speculating on the length of time Simba & RSBot (the original alteast) have existed; read again.

SRL & MSI are made specifically for Runescape, NOT Simba. SRL is a library of functions & procedures for the purpose of creating RS scripts easier. MSI is basically a massive multi-script for Runescape. Neither have anything to do with Simba. That's like saying Java is a language made specifically for Runescape just because someone made RS bots using Java.

 

No it's actually quite different. Vilavu(SRL Forums) have sections for RuneScape, MSI and SRL and are officially in support of them. They are updated by administrators and other forum recognised members.

Anyway this is getting off topic and I won't argue this point anymore as all I want my input to be is the rank should be Pascal Programmer for SCAR and Simba.

 

I support this rank, but maybe we just should have a general 'Bot Developer' rank? Encompassing Simba, SCAR and the other clients?

 

Don't like that image used, the image someone created on page 2 i think is much better.

 

Script developer would be better if you were to go down that path. Bot developer is misleading and makes people think they actually know how to make a bot and are capable of it.

 

Though pascal and java is like chinese and english when comparing

 

I support, because I know it's not easy to write a good working script, so i respect everybody who can do it.

 

And? That quote was for Bot Developer and Script Developer, I don't see how that relates back to Pascal and Java as Script could be any language.
