Are you making these from scratch? Or are you finding these images online and enhancing them aesthetically, if so id like to see the transformations from original - edited.

 

Made these from scratch, I'm really bad at editing images haha.

The smudging is nice, was there a guide I can see on how to smudge like that?

There are a couple of really big problems I see. First is composition. Your composition is pretty much all of the same which means slapping a render right in the center which is a huge no-no because that leads to other problems. It makes it look unpleasing to the eye because of the way perception and the rules of photography work with the rules of thirds. Along with composition comes focal size. All of these but the first two your focal size is much too much. You have pretty much blocked off a good 80% of the canvas with the render and it causes the effects to look really, really messy because you are only getting a tiny bit of them. Next is your depth. There is no depth in your tags and they all look terribly flat. This is probably because of the huge render size and the lack of good lighting, which leads into lighting. All of your pieces have pretty much the same kind of lighting which is where you soft brush on some color - that isn't good lighting that is the base of building lighting. Lighting is built over several layers and shouldn't be an after thought in a tag because you can't have a good tag without good lighting.

Thanks for taking the time to write this I've learnt a lot and will try my best to apply this in future tags . Although I do believe I have a tiny bit of depth in my tags.

 

I think you should move on to lp's, vector stuff or wallpapers if you ant to keep improving fast on my phone too soo don't look at the grammar.
