    I use dreamweaver and its fantastic for layouts etc.
    If you are aware of how to code, then use Notepad++
    The only problem i have with using NP++ is i usually don't know if something is looking "off" on the website right away.

    Sorry for the gravedigging, but you could just preview it in other browsers while using dreamweaver?

    That would be the sensible thing to do, but when you use a program like dreamweaver you shouldn't have to worry about how it looks like in real browsers.

    This is exactly what I use too. I never was a fan of Notepad++ or whatever it's called, it's too advanced really. I like something small and basic to work in.
