Raw Bslaya banned? My account was phished.

My account Raw Bslaya was banned yesterday but it wasn't me on the account.. someone posted saying I was a scammer on my thread with a phishing link as evidence and my stupid brother clicked it.. check the ips, pms and posts or whatever... I have sales that are being screwed up because of this ban. It's so obvious that it wasn't me I've been on the site for 2 years..

 

Hi "raw bslaya" here, I was talking to a guy on sythe and we were pming one another back and forth about his account I was interested in. I offered him my maxed main I was selling and his response back was "no swaps". I did not pm him back but then I get a pm back from him telling me the link is broken. I read through the chat and came across a message to him that I didn't send... Saying "sorry not interested here's a link of you scamming another person". I opened the sythe link and noticed a "********" or something along those lines at the end. I told the guy not to open the link it's a phishing site. But I received an email back from him that "he's reporting me". Well here I am now.

Come to find out the reason my account was phished is because my idiot self clicked the same broken link. I was selling my maxed main and some guy posted scammer with the same phishing site link, which I opened and signed into. I didn't think much of it because I Pmed the guy back telling him to delete the post or I will report it for spam. The post was deleted but by a sythe mod. Come to find out the guy is banned and so is my account that i have had for a fortune. I am no phisher and would just love for my account to be unbanned.

I am also wondering about my TwC.

I will look into your case a bit further.

There have been a few members in the last couple of days who have fallen victim to the phishing site that is going around. The phisher appears to only use the account to spread the phishing links further, probably hoping that he lands a really nice account down the road at some point.

I will check your post history & the IP's of the malicious posts made with your account, and if your story checks out then I will request an unban immediately.

 

After a quick investigation, I can confirm that your story checks out

Your IP list is very clean, except for the IP present during all the phishing links posted from your account. I checked out the IP address and it is the same one used for many of the other accounts that were banned for posting phishing links.

As for your TWC, I cannot comment on when or why it was applied as I have no idea. If the TWC was given recently and you have no idea why it is there, you will have to dispute that separately once you are unbanned and see if you can get it removed.
