RAM memory I was thinking off:

Would this make my system better & faster and would I be able to combine that RAM memory with my computer? (Aspire M7720)
All tips & tricks are very welcomed!

    Thanks guys! :D

Yes, you should go to 8 or 12gb, your mobo supports how many slots? That ram is fine if you want to go ahead with it, but you can probably find 12gb for around the same price range. Let me know how many ram slots there are on your mobo, but if your question was simply if it's compatible, then yes.

As posted above I would go with 12GB.
However, RAM sticks are always (or 99% of the time) in powers of 2.
So if your mobo has only 2 slots I'd go with 8GB cause else you need 2x 8GB I heard those don't perform all to well.

    New RAM memory!

You're not really going to notice a performance increase unless you frequently max out your current ram

    New RAM memory!

If you mean with mobo the motherboard sockets that support the RAM, I've got three. At the moment I have a combo of 3x2GB.

So you'd go with 12GB of RAM than?
Could you find me a good kind of RAM memory that fits my computer and for a nice price?
I do know a bit about hardware but not whats good and all :)

Thank you everybody for the responses!

Hmm I study informatics at college and I often use a few 'heavy' programmes in combination (visual studio etc) and I was kind of thinking of putting some bots up on my computer ;)

It supports DDR3 PC3-10600 1333MHz. I'm quite sure this http://uk.shopping.com/Acer-Acer-As...1-64TB-DVD-RW-16x-DVD-LAN-Vista-Home-Pre/info is his computer.

You can choose 3 g.skill or 3 kingston, they're pretty much identical, just comes down to brand preference.

    New RAM memory!

Edit: the link is indeed my computer ;)
Okay thanks Aimless :D Would it be better to have three times 4GB or for example two times 6GB? Would that make any difference to the speed?
I'm still doubting to buy either 8GB or 12GB!

Would the 4GB more allow me to run more bots? And how many would I for example be able to run?

Thank you very much for all the info :D

Depends on the bot, no for simba, pb, and rarebot. But if you use ram intensive programs or like to have a lot of tabs open then 12 would be better, otherwise 8.

Depends on motherboard as i7-920 can run up to 16x mem multiplier for 133x16 = DDR3-2133Mhz speeds at stock. His mobo supports 1333, hence when you see motherboards it'll show anything above 1333 as (overclock) when it's showing support.
