Worst injury?

Everyone is bound to get physically hurt someway in their lives (unless you're lucky), so what is the worst injury you've suffered and how did it happen?

The worst injury I've ever had was breaking my tailbone, I was messing around on a rolling chair at school and as I was standing on it gliding across the gym floor it went out from under me and I fell 2-3 feet straight on my ass and broke my tailbone. I couldn't sit down for a long time, but thankfully that was the worst of my injuries.

 

Breaking my knee cap. Couldn't do anything like before.

 

I have never broken a bone or I suppose that badly injured at all, worst would probably be pulling a muscle in my hammy I suppose, which isn't that bad, I guess Im lucky

 

I broke my sternum in a car accident, wore a body brace like a jackass for an entire four months.

 

Broke my back, got a concussion, and was in a coma for a week, all in one accident. I fell off our roof while sneaking out with my brother. There were more injuries, but that's just the major one. I'm recovered now, though, that was several years ago.

 

My thumb was 'chopped' off by a door. My thumb was right inbetween the door and the frame, just as a large gush of wind slammed the door shut. Pretty much chopping my thumb off. (It wasn't completely off) However, my thumb was dangling by like one thread of my skin or something. A bloody mess.

 

Probably fracturing my right wrist a few years back, was in hospital for hours. Other than that, probably my appendix which was giving me shit last year, it wasn't taken out in the end though.

 

Broke my right arm in totall i broke my ankles 9 times from skateboarding. But the worst was straining my balls. One of my balls was apple size. They are super sensitive to this day.

 

partial tear of my ACL, its recovered now, but since its scar tissue it can blow easier than before.

 

Had a 3cm wide gash on my arm, and there is a pretty nasty scar on it.
Appendicitis.
Hernia.
Tortion.

 

When i was a kid my dad lifted me up by the arms, one day he lifted me up and my elbow popped out and the bone was sticking out.

 

Probably dislocating my knee, falling over and actually breaking my knee cap.
That was agonising.

Anyways, I've sprained my ankle pretty badly during a Basketball game.
I'm only 17, hopefully I can stay healthy.

Had surgery on both feet but it was planned. I guess the worst unplanned injury would be when I chipped off part of my ring finger knuckle in wrestling.

 

I was playing bulldog at primary school and I tripped over whilst sprinting across the playground which ended up with me breaking my collarbone, splitting my lip, slicing my face up and developing a nervous twitch because I hit my head so hard. :'( All fixed now though!

 

type 4 concussion while snowboarding, got knocked out and rushed to the hospital.
I lost all eyesight in my left eye for a week, which really sucked. They rushed me to the hospital because they thought my brain might have been bleeding.
But yeah, i was trying a backflip and came down on an icy landing and yepp..

 

Sprained ankle. Stepped on someone's foot the wrong way.

mine was breaking my wrist playing football. I hit this guy, and I fell on it awkwardly. I got up, tried to shake it off, then realized i couldn't turn my arm upside down, and then told my coach my wrist was broken lol
