    help please! sata cables/hdd
    so I got my computer out of my closet, its a verynice computer I paid about 1500$ for everything. I booted up and it said

    reboot and select device

    so i did, I selected it.
    Then i realized it said Sata not found, in 1 2 3 4. I moved them to 3 and 4 to see if anything and I got nothing... anything anyone can do to help me? /cry

    Im running on a asus motherboard.

    When in the BIOS menu, does it detect it there?
    Are your HDDs spinning?

    See if it shows HDD in bios or run diagnostics.

    Ofcourse check cables and such aswell first.
