Hey guys, I thought that zi'd share a personal experience with you. Not that you guys care anyway, but I just had to share haha

A week or two ago, I got into an accident while delivering pizza in my scooter.
I collided head first into a sudan, fell off my motorcycle and was lying there worried about any injuries, then the driver of the car got out and started cursing at me, accusing me of speeding and shit.

First off, I'm absolutely okay and suffered only minor bruises. I get into similar situations often and I guess that my body automatically reacted in a way so that I wouldn't get hurt.

And no, I wasn't speeding and it was the guy's fault, 100%. The accident happened when I made a right turn after climbing up a hill with my 50cc scooter (impossible to speed at that angle) and there was a parked car that was blocking my view.

It was the guy that was speeding.

Now normally, it's the fault of the person making a turn when automobile accidents happen and I would have been at the disadvantage if there was no surveillance camera and another parked car's blackbox recording everything.

The moment I realized that, I was very grateful for today's technological advances.

Now while I was on the ground, I started to video record everything that the guy was spitting at me. I've seen a LOT of movies and dramas in which recordings have or would have helped the people in trouble, so it was the first thing that came to mind when the guy started cursing.

Then while he was calling his insurance company, I called another bro who delivers pizza with me and has more experience (I had no idea what to do) and he came and tried asking the guy some questions.

That sure rustled his jimmies and suddenly, accused bro of not showing respect to his elders (the guy was probably in his late 40's, bro in his 20s) and he picked up his phone again and called his lawyer, accusing bro of threatening him and assaulting him. Right in front of my recording phone.

Well the video was probably unnecessary since there was already that surveillance camera and blackbox, but you CAN be fined for verbal abuse and/or sued
    .
Unlucky for him, the only thing recorded on my phone was HIM cursing and throwing threats. I showed that to the cops who came to investigate the scene, and he probably got into some shit.

While the guy was shitting his lungs off, people who lived in the neighborhood got pissed off at the disturbance and tried to shut him up to no avail.
A man in his 70's tried reasoning with him, but the guy threw insults and him, too. So much for showing respect to your elders.

From what I've heard, even after the insurance companies took care of everything and I went back to the restaurant that I work at, the guy actually got into a fist fight, caused some property damage and fled the scene. His life is probably over now, there's no doubt that he lost his job, got sued, and is awaiting trial.

i'd love to say tht this is it but just a couple of hours ago, someone set fire to our scooters and I no longer have one to deliver pizza with.
    I wonder who.

Apparently this guy has some serious anger issues and you have some driving issues.

I personally recommend walking to deliver your pizza's now. ^_^

Does your work not have a surveillance camera outside?

Regardless, this man completely took it to the next level, however, whenever situations like this arise you have to think the possibilities. Perhaps he was so angry because he lost his wife that evening, or possibly his kid got into an accident at school and broke his arm. Nonetheless, it gives no cause to set your vehicles on fire (assuming it was him).

That sucks, some people are unbelievable. Definitely a good idea to film stuff like that if you think you're going to need the evidence. I know someone who had so many problems cycling home from work that he started wearing a helmet camera every day so he could get all the arseholes with road rage sorted out. Apparently it was a pretty good deterrent once people realised too.

That's terrible. Did you have any cameras around where you store your scooters? If not then hopefully you'll be able to claim insurance on the scooter (if you have any)

Some people though, just un-reasonable and are so used to getting their way. You could tell he was mature pulling a temper tantrum at his age.

It's good to hear your alright, and I hope that this obviously unstable individual is no longer a member of your daily life...

I had a similar experience, though fortunately I was just a bystander.

    Disgraceful.
Here I am thinking today's CHILDREN are fucked up, when the adults are equally as idiotic.
Try to get him out, get him into a jail, or somewhere safe where he isn't a bother to anyone else.

The thread's pretty long, you must have missed it haha
You see, he caused a lot more trouble than a simple accident that evening and he probably got into more legal issues.
Judging by how hot-tempered he was, I'd say that this is a plausible reason haha

Wish that it were the same here, but traffic violations are so common in my country that the cops barely even bother >_>

No, I don't think so :( Or maybe we do and I haven't noticed yet lol...
And yeah, it was just like what you see on TV. You know, those extreme situations? haha

Well, you barely ever meet people you've got into an automobile accident with again and I wasn't counting on having another encounter. Too bad things didn't work out so good lol

    And woah, what happened?

That's my #1 priority right now, assuming that he DID set the fire :p
    no proof yet lol

hey guys, here are some pics :)

I understand that, hence why i cause it doesn't excuse his actions regarding setting your work vehicles on fire.

He could of has previous incidents happen to cause his over reaction.

Wow, that really sucks. I didn't understand when you said he most definitely lost his job? Who are you talking of? Your bro who came? Is he the one who got into a fist fight and did some property damage?

    Glad you're okay though!

He's implying the actions he took were to the fullest extreme, his consequences will probably result in being incarcerated hence loosing his job, wife kids, etc.
