I don't want to be an ass here, but considering you misspelled "Experienced" And used the wrong "Than" and misspelled "Professional" and also "Achieve".
I'm going to say you are a hater and in fact are just either jealous or have no faith. Even if the server is lead by a 15 year old he seems a lot more mature than you right now. Please don't hate on the server if its still in pre-alpha and is still being coded. Thank you.

 

Playing it now. This game is amazing I hope they follow through on all of the plans. I also hope Jagex doesn't shut it down. I believe it Jagex sponsored it in someway as stated before, they would make ridiculous demands and screw it up just like they did with the original. Hopefully they will just ignore it.

 

I'm excited for the alpha, when XP rates are 1X and everything is official.

It's definitely legit the big question is whether or not Jagex will retaliate. Hopefully not because this game has been awesome so far and brings back hella memories.

 

Its very fun love it and yeaaa jagesx will do some shit probably in the future they attacked many servers including near reality they lose most of the time though or cant if the site is hosted privately or unreachable

 

Seems like a total scam to me. They haven't even opened the server and they expect people to donate to them, like what the fuck is that?

 

The server is open, but in pre-alpha, if you donate $2 you can play.
It's not a scam, nor does it seem like one.

Id honestly have delayed the pre-alpha for a month or so, there still are alot of glitches, but overall its one of the best private servers I've ever played on.
It really gives you back the feeling that you're new at the game, and you have to work hard to earn items, etc (not xp, since its 10x in pre-alpha).

Overall it was a very good idea to make this private server, all we can do is hope that jagex doesn't kill it.

I wish Jagex would partner up and make this like an official RS2-Classic. I loved the old graphics, and would switch over to an older server in a heartbeat if it ever happened. Sadly I doubt Jagex will ever consider something like this, oh well.

 

I really like the general idea of the server and I have been sort of looking at the server on youtube recently. Can't wait until the public release(don't want to pay money for a buggy version of the actual game)

Jagex will never sponsor this it would make no sense for them as I can assure you they have the actual source code from 2006. Maybe this will inspire them to release there own version of RS back in 2006 like they have for classic.

 

When does the regular version get released. I haven't played it even though I've donated on 2 accounts lol

 

Pre-Alpha is closing on the 31st of August. So surely Alpha (Where you are no longer required to be a donator to play) will be released either immediately or shortly after

 

My IDEA:
JaGeX should make RS2, which is current RS
RSC,which is current RSC.
But,
They should make RS3, which is EoC so no1 can complain.
And, finally, RS2006, which will be same as rs2006.. but JaGeX's one.

 

Pre-alpha ended, now we just have to wait for alpha .

 

They've announced Alpha will come out mid to end of this month, I'm so pumped! You can find the news article here, there's a super cool trailer there too.

Yes, once alpha comes out the actual game starts. From then on all xp you get won't be reset ever (unless you bot I assume).

They already fixed alot of bugs in pre-alpha, so I think they'll be working on quests, etc to complete the game in alpha.

 

2006 RS with a 2012 community. So it's still shit.
