My best guess would be the economy, how people hoarded. And probably people bitching about how they couldn't get on during the weekends.

Wow, those bastards. I bet that all their new XP rewards will be shit like Refer-A-Friend and other sleazy but clever methods that will tie into membership and them making cash somehow.

 

That sucks that they are done... now how am i going to get 99 summoning.... but at least people wont stock up on items now!

but its true most people bought out stocks for profit which is smart...

 

Honestly, it's about time they did this.

Only thing that happens here is hoarders make huge profit, and people saves time. By the time BXPW is around, prices for supplies have already doubled somehow. So people who do not act ahead of time doesn't really benefit from it. And some just loses when they try to stock up on something and a hoarder dumps before they could.

However I do agree with what others think, that they will make you pay or do something that benefits them for more exp. Sigh.

I was thinking of stocking up on herb supplies, but I was also kinda anticipating that Jagex would change their stance on this.

At least they bothered giving a small heads up, better than waiting until the end of next month for them to troll us.

^ +1 It's kind of late though; probably just a ruse to get people to believe they actually care anyway. They most likely got rid of it so they could take even more advantage of that squeal crap.
